There was no exposure to core placements in huge numbers, But a few companies visited here, but they didn't hire students and are fake.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028

Good faculty and decent placements.
Placements: Around 70-80 percent of students got placed in Electrical. The highest package is about 6 LPA-7 LPA, the average is around 3 LPA-3.5 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA-2.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, L&T, Tata Power, and Vedanta. Nearly 40-50 percent of students got internships in companies like Tata Power, OPTCL, and JSPL, with major roles offered as GET, Electrical Engineer, and Maintenance Engineer.
Infrastructure: The department has good classrooms, full-time Wi-Fi, well-equipped electrical labs, and an updated library. Hostels are average with basic rooms, clean washrooms, and decent mess food. The canteen is okay, medical help is available on campus, and sports facilities like a ground, indoor games, and a gym are provided.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and explained concepts clearly, so overall teaching quality was good. The curriculum is relevant and includes labs that help students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and most students pass, with the pass percentage usually above 80 percent.
Other: Our batch had a friendly environment and good faculty support in Electrical Engineering. I chose this course because of my interest in circuits, machines, and their career options. The best part of the course was the strong lab exposure and helpful teachers. I wish the placement opportunities in core companies were even better. The campus has fests, technical events, a decent crowd, good bus connectivity, and a clean, green surrounding with scholarship options and extracurricular activities that keep students engaged.

B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Material Engineering - Batch of 2020

Very unique course in this college.
Placements: As I am from the Corona batch, there are fewer placements than expected. Online interviews are conducted by some companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech. Mahindra, etc. The highest package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 1.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi all over the campus with CCTV security. Library is good; it is open also at night. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. Labs are spacious and have all apparatus used in industry. There are different grounds for different sports. There are 4 hostels inside the campus. Mess food is not good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, they are highly aware of what the students are doing. They are highly educated and experienced. They all have done their Masters and Ph.D. The course curriculum is very unique and good. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessions which are conducted by the university BPUT. Questions are moderate level.

Good college feels is low .
Placements: This was a government college, so placements were average. Companies like Tatapower, JSW, Jindal, etc. visited our college. The highest package offered was 3.2 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 2.3 LPA. Tata Power offered 6 month internship to 10 students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was very good. Buildings were in good condition. Wi-Fi was all over the campus, and there was CCTV security. There were two hostels for boys and two hostels for girls. Campus was big, there were cricket grounds, volleyball courts, badminton courts, basketball courts, etc.. Classrooms were good. Labs are spacious and had all facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members were good, they were highly educated and experienced. Faculty members have done their Masters and Ph.D. The course curriculum was good, it made us ready for the industry. There were two semesters in a year, and each semester had two sessions, which were conducted by the university BPUT.

Good placements, decent infrastructure, supportive faculty members, and active campus life.
Placements: Around 70-80 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture. About 60 percent of students got internships at ATIT firms, startups, and core companies, mainly as software engineers/analysts.
Infrastructure: Our department has good classrooms with projectors, Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and access to a central library. Hostels have basic facilities, though rooms are average. Mess food is decent but repetitive, and the canteen offers better options. Medical unit is available on campus. Sports grounds and indoor games are well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and supportive, though teaching quality varies. The curriculum is updated with basics and electives, but extra skills are needed for industry readiness. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, focusing on understanding. Pass percentage is around 85-90 percent in most batches.
Other: I chose electrical engineering for its wide scope in power, machines, and electronics. The best parts are strong fundamentals, labs, and PSU/IT opportunities. It needs more industry tie-ups and modern tools. Campus fests, clubs, sports, scholarships, and good connectivity make students' life lively and engaging.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

2Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
College is good. Admission and study.
Placements: In this college, placements are very poor. The college name is good for his GATE qualifiers, and PMEC college was recently awarded by pm Narendra Modi. Our lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest package is 6 LPA. 20%-30% students got an internship or placement in this college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, mostly our campus is complete with Wi-Fi, also labs and classrooms are fully smart. Hostels are neat and clean on campus, and in the hostel, Wi-Fi is available for all users. Food quality is average, not very good or not bad. In this college indoor stadium is not available.
Faculty: Faculty are good. Teaching quality or qualification is excellent, also all teachers are helpful, but some automobile teachers don't know anything but show like they know all. In our semester exam invigilator was very strict. Don't allow any type of cheating.
Other: I want to complete a graduation course, so I chose this course. The best thing is that in this college no competition with other colleges. Doing an internship in different companies or trying to attend off-campus placement drives.

Decent campus life, helpful teachers, and a supportive environment.
Placements: 40-50% of students were placed in our course, and the average package is 3-4.5 LPA. Top companies were APMOSYS, Cybrain, etc. Properly, I could not know how many got internships in which company, but my 4-5 friends got internships.
Infrastructure: New infrastructure has been made, which is particularly a separate building for the library named the Central Library, and all the facilities were provided. The quality of the hostel is quite average, but a student can manage easily. The food quality is sometimes good, sometimes average. There is a big ground available for playing sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching of some teachers was good. Semester exams are not difficult. Everybody should pass, but you need to at least solve the previous 2 years' papers. 33% is the minimum percentage for a student to pass.
Other: I chose this course because during COVID, CSE was in hype, and my friends also suggested opting for the Computer Science branch. You can gain some knowledge about the subject and do projects at the end. Events were organized, such as sports events, such as Arena, and a fest called Exuberance, which was held for 3 days, and many more celebrities came to perform. More extracurricular activities were done by the clubs, and you can also take part in those clubs to enhance, improve, and showcase your skills.

Yes, there is a chance that you can get admission in CSE branch in PMEC. 83 is a good percentile. Usually cut off is around 75-80 percentile. And if not CSE branch than you can definitely get other branches.

You must increase your JEE Mains percentage because 78 percentile is not sufficient to get CSE branch. So, You have to increase your percentage and 12th marks are not considered.
