VSSUT Burla Seats Reservations 2025: Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla follows the reservation policy set by the Government of Odisha for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Steps for VSSUT Burla Admission Process 2025
Admission to VSS University of Technology courses is entrance-based, including JEE, and OJEE. The university also conducts its own university-level entrance exam for a few undergraduate and postgraduate programmes admission. VSSUT admission process includes the application form, eligibility, selection criteria etc. The following steps include the admission process for VSSUT Burla courses 2025:
Step 1: VSSUT Registration 2025
Eligible candidates must register on the official website of VSSUT through the link: vssutadm.samarth.edu.in/2025/index.php/site/login
Step 2: Selection: Merit-list
The university will release the merit list as per the rank secured in the entrance exam
- BTech: A valid score is required in the JEE main or OJEE entrance examination
- MTech: A valid GATE score is required for admission into two years MTech course
- MSc: Career assessment is the criteria for admission into the MSc course in July every year.
- Integrated MSc: Entrance Exam conducted by VSSUT / OJEE / OJEE(Main) in July every year.
- MPhil: Entrance Exam conducted by VSSUT in July every year.
- PhD: Entrance Exam conducted by VSSUT followed by Interview (in July and January every year). Full-time students with External Fellowship and VSSUT faculty members are exempted from this selection process.
Step 3: Counselling
Candidates must pay the counselling fee of INR 500 for the programmes, such as MSc.
Step 4: Seat Allotment
When offering a seat to a particular candidate, the rank of the candidate on the final merit list will be taken into consideration.
Step 5: Admission Letter
The admission Offer Letter will be sent through an email ID with extension__vssut.ac.in. Candidates are advised to check their mail inbox and spam folder for the offer letter.
Step 6: Fee Payment & Documents Verification
The candidate who received the Offer Letter has to pay an admission fee using the link: vssutadm.samarth.edu.in.

Yes, you can join Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) without JEE.
There are two ways to join VSSUT without JEE:
- Through the OJEE: VSSUT accepts OJEE scores for admission to its B.Tech program. The OJEE is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Government of Odisha for admission to engineering and technology programs in the state.
- Through lateral entry: VSSUT offers lateral entry admission to its B.Tech programme for students who have completed a Diploma in engineering and technology from a recognised institution.
To be eligible for lateral entry admission to VSSUT, you must have passed a Diploma in engineering and technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
No it is not compulsory to get 75% in class 12th. The candidate should have Passed HSC Examination/Equivalent with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. You should have passed the Class 12 th (10+2) Examination from a recognised Board, with at least 45% marks for general category and 40% marks in case of SC/ST category.
