Honest review of Polaris School of Technology.
Placements: The official placement details are not out yet since it is a relatively new college. The placement statistics are expected to be released from next year. However, being a new-generation college, one thing I can say is that they do not follow a traditional syllabus. Instead, students start learning coding from day one. Many first-year students get selected for open-source programs like GSOC (Google Summer of Code), Summer of Bitcoin, LFX, ICPC, and many more.
Infrastructure: Our hostel life is quite good. The rooms are aesthetic and spacious, and we have Wi-Fi available, which is faster than average, although it has some limitations for now (which the college plans to make unlimited in the future). The food quality is average, sometimes good but mostly moderate. The hostel also has a games area with billiards and table tennis, and it is expected to be upgraded further. There is also a gym available. The classrooms are well-designed and fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful. Speaking of their qualifications, many of them are professionals who have worked with companies like Microsoft and Google. The course curriculum is very updated, and students start coding from day one. Unlike traditional courses, we do not have subjects like Physics or Chemistry. Instead, we learn Python, JavaScript, and web development from the very first year. The teaching starts from the basics, so it is suitable for everyone. The semester exams are manageable if you study, and we also have weekly evaluations and viva sessions.
Other: The college actively encourages and motivates students. We frequently have fireside chats and interactive sessions. On 31st January 2026, the team from Open AI visited our college, which was a big achievement considering Polaris is still a relatively new institution.

Industry-ready curriculum & active campus life at Polaris School of Technology.
Placements: So, none of the batch has passed out from our college. So, there are no placements till now, but in our batch, about 8-9 students cracked GSOC, and about 3-4 students and about 10-12 students got internships in companies like Zuvees. So we can say that internship opportunities in the college are pretty good because they all got internships in their first year of college.
Infrastructure: There is no library available on the campus or hostel, but separate coding rooms, silent rooms and a play area are both present in the hostel and campus. There are many indoor games in the hostel, like 8-ball pool, chess, Foose ball, carrom and for cricket and football, there is turf available in tarries.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, and they know both curriculum knowledge and industry knowledge about what corporate life is. And the courses are relevant because they make students industry-ready. Also, the exams are on the side of easy to medium and scoring above 7 CGPA is very easy.
Other: So I started my college in 2024, and we are the first batch in the Bangalore campus in the School of Technology, and it is a 4-year course, so we end in 2028. So, a recent hackathon happened in our college called Vibathon, and last year, a buildathon happened. Also, a cultural fest has happened recently.

Polaris School of Technology review by a year one student.
Placements: Since we are the second batch, our final placements will happen in 2029. But the internship track record is insane. Out of our group, 40 students have already been placed, as far as internships are concerned, in high-growth roles. The average stipend is around 2 LPA, with the highest reaching 3.6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is definitely modern and new age, and not traditional in nature. We have smart classrooms, AI/ML labs, coding dens, etc. There are sports facilities like turf, gym, etc. Focus more on industry immersion, real-world projects and CXO sessions. Hostels have study spaces, gyms and movie rooms.
Faculty: Curriculum is definitely the star here. The living syllabus approach means that with the evolving tech landscape, the curriculum evolves too. Definitely focused on industry readiness. The faculty is great. Definitely the best in class in the new age tech schools category. The curriculum is actually one of the reasons why I chose Polaris over Scale and Newton.
Other: The best part is the focus on industry readiness and all the industry interactions we have. 11 students cracking GSOC within 8 months of the programme is no joke.

Review of Polaris School of Technology.
Placements: This is the second year since the college started, so no one has graduated, and there is no history of placements. It is good enough for students to get internships. Many companies visit the college to provide internship opportunities, and the faculty members help with open source as well.
Infrastructure: There are no libraries or labs, as of now. The Wi-Fi is fine, but sometimes it crashes, and we experience low speed. Classrooms are top-notch, as in the campus building, we only have two floors, so there is no big infrastructure. The quality of the mess food is below par. There are hygienic issues, and the menu has weird items. Only arcade games are available. Outdoor games do not exist here.
Faculty: The course curriculum is top-notch. Exams do happen weekly, like viva and weekly evaluation, which contribute to the final CGPA. Teachers are good, and they may not all be from top MNCs like Google, Microsoft, etc. But they do explain every topic nicely, and we can ask them doubts as many times as we want. In end-semester exam, more than 95 percent of students pass, and about 50 percent of students score well enough.

Polaris and Newton are not college and university itself, neither are they affiliated to any university as a college. They just "partner" with institutions to provide B.Tech degrees. These institutions mostly not well known universities with no legacy and ranking, like Madhavi, Rishihood, which are
