Admissions to PGI Chandigarh courses are made on applicants’ merit in Class 12 and score in the entrance examination. Once the eligible applicants have given the entrance exam, the selection process begins. The college prepares a rank list of the students based on their entrance examinations scores. PGI Chandigarh then allocate seats via personal counselling. In personal counselling, the candidates who meet the cut off are called to the institute.

PGIMER Chandigarh BSc counselling rounds generally begin around the month of July. The college holds personal counselling, which means that eligible candidates have to physically report at the institute.
