Pravin Rohidas Patil College of Engineering and Technology Admission Process 2025
All Candidates seeking admission to the first year of degree courses mandatory submit their online application form CAP with necessary documents through e-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny mode to F. C. as per the schedule issued by CET Cell.
The Stages in the centralised Admission process are as follows:
STEP 01: Online Application
Fill online application form by the candidate for participation in CAP. Confirm the online application form and verification document at the Facilitation Centre through e-Scrutiny and Physical Scrutiny modes.
STEP 02: E-Scrutiny and Physical Scrutiny
After the display of the Provisional Merit List on the web portal, submit grievances, if any, at the Facilitation Centre through eScrutiny and Physical Scrutiny mode. Check the number in the Final Merit List as per the category.
STEP 03: Confirm the online option Form
Filling up and confirmation of online option form having preferences of courses & institutions before CAP Round 1(Candidates may fill in as many choices as possible of Courses and Institutes in decreasing order of their preferences.)
STEP 04: Seat Allotment
Check the allotted institute & course in Provisional Allotment of CAP 1 Round, and candidates can opt to Confirm, ST and Non-Confirm the choice of course and institute, during the CAP-1 process, as well as confirm allotted seat at ARC by ST paying online the Seat Acceptance fee. In the CAP round 1, if a candidate is allotted the seat as per his first preference, such allotment shall be auto freezed and the candidate shall accept the allotment so made.
STEP 05: Editing
A candidate who is eligible for CAP 2nd & 3rd can edit or fill a fresh option form through their login, and after allotment of CAP 2nd & 3rd, they can confirm or non-confirm their choice through ARC. CAP Round 3rd is the last attempt for allotment.
STEP 06: Final Reporting
Report at the allotted institute for accepting the seat offered as per the CAP 1st, 2nd and 3rd Round along with Original Documents and institute admission fee. Collect the receipt of admission from the allotted institute for future reference.

Commonly asked questions On Admissions
The application fee details for MHT CET 2026 is yet to be announced. Candidates can check here the fee details as per last year information brochure.
The general/unreserved category students application fee is INR 800. The application fee for reserved category and PwD candidates is INR 600. Candidates have to pay the application fees online using Credit/Debit card or internet banking. There is no facility to pay MHT CET application fees offline.
The facility of making corrections in MHT CET application form is provided for candidates to edit incorrect details filled in the form. However, not all the details filled in application form can be changes.
- Name, mobile number and email ID of candidates CANNOT be changed.
- Candidates can change their category, photo, signature and other uploaded documents
- Paper for which appearing (PCB or PCM)
- In case candidate changes their category from unreserved to reserved category, they will be required to pay the difference in application fee
To apply for the BTech course at PRPCET, candidates need to follow the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) as per the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) guidelines. Applicants must submit their online application forms along with necessary documents through the designated Facilitation Centre. The process involves online registration, document verification, merit list display, and online option form filling for seat allotment in participating institutes.
