My review on Pydah College of Engineering, Vishakhapatnam.

Placements: Every year, Pydah provides huge placement opportunities for all the specialisations like finance, marketing and HR. As compared to finance and marketing specialisations, HR opportunities were less in number. This year, many of my seniors got placed in companies like Concentrix, Dmart, Walmart, etc., with a package of 2.2-2.4 lpa.

Infrastructure: There are very well-furnished classrooms with a pleasant atmosphere. There is a library with the immense number of books. There is no Wi-Fi available in the college. It is only available in the canteen. Every evening, many students will play so many games like cricket, volleyball, and basketball.

Faculty: In my masters of business administration course, there were well-qualified faculty members. Every faculty member was well experienced. They teach us not only the subject but also how to live in the technical world, and so many things that would help in our life.

Other: Pydah College is one of the best colleges in Visakhapatnam. People are coming from many areas to study in this college. This college provides B.Tech, MBA, MSC, MCA, at one campus. It provides a good environment with good career building tools which help us to find a bright career.

Completely satisfied with the placements, faculty, infrastructure, etc. except for some strict rules

Placements: The placements in our college are more when compared to other colleges in Visakhapatnam after GITAM. Many students got placed in the campus placements, including me. I was selected in two companies. Out of them, I have chosen Spandana Spoorthy Financial Services Ltd. The packages which we are getting range from Rs. 180000 to Rs. 420000 per year. On an average, one can expect a decent amount of Rs. 250000 per annum. The companies that visited till now for campus placements are DMart, Walmart, Spandana Spoorthy, Karvy, Cattain, Efftronics, Oppo and many more are yet to come for our academic year. The roles that were offered to the students are at mid-level management.

Infrastructure: One of the best college in terms of infrastructure. After GITAM, it's Pydah where the infrastructure grabs one's attention. You can search the images of Pydah College on Google if you want. There's a vast ground around the college in which we have a cricket ground, volleyball court, badminton courts, basketball courts and many more. The classrooms are decent. Since I am an MBA student, I don't know about the labs in the college, but we have a library where we can find almost all sorts of books which an MBA student needs. The canteen food is excellent in the beginning of the academic year but later on, you will have to eat whatever the canteen people make. Our college has hostel facility only for girls and there are no complaints about the hostel environment except minor issues.

Faculty: The best positive sign in Pydah College PG courses is the faculty members. They all are well educated and experienced. The faculty teaches the subjects and gives notes for further reference. During our projects, we were coordinated by our project guides who are none other than our faculty members. Each faculty member, on an average, got around 9-10 students to coordinate and assist in the project report.
