An overview of IIM Visakhapatnam.

Placements: IIM Visakhapatnam provides multiple opportunities and roles across different sectors. Start-ups and big MNCs come for placement opportunities. As per the function, companies do come for all different roles, such as marketing, finance, analytics, etc. The highest package last year was 42 LPA and the average package was 14–16 LPA. Almost 85% of students get placement opportunities here.

Infrastructure: A hostel is mandatory for every student. The best hostel facility is available on campus. Single-sharing room with AC, beds, and almirah. Study lamps and everything else that will be necessary for the next two years. All hostels have mesmerizing scenic views from their windows. Fridges, washing machines, induction, and clothing drying areas are available on every floor. Food is good in comparison to other foods. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner are being provided, as well as special food on special occasions.

Faculty: The course is designed keeping in mind the overall development of the students. Apart from written exams, it has group projects and presentations, simulations, and class participation weights. Also, a 2-month summer internship is mandatory at the end of the first year. The faculty here is very knowledgeable and approachable. Some faculty members hold the degree of IIMs, and they have great knowledge of marketing and finance. Class Size: 140 Course Fees: 175000 per year.

Indian institute of management Visakhapatnam.

Placements: The placement record of the college is becoming more promising with each passing day. Currently, a limited number of companies are visiting. The highest package offered, as per the latest record, is 42 lakhs, and the average is 16.5 lakhs, with 50% of the batch falling above the average range. The top 25% receive approximately a 23 lakh package. The roles offered include analyst, wealth management trainee, senior analyst, finance analyst, IT consultant, etc. Top recruiters include ICICI Bank, Deloitte, KPMG, Yes Bank, EY, Anand Rathi, and Amul.

Infrastructure: The campus is newly built with all modern amenities. The vicinity in which the campus is located is quite desolate. Facilities are still under construction, so constant construction noise disturbs. The location is very far from the main city, with limited options for cabs and online orders. Networks like Airtel have issues on campus, but the newly built library has all study materials. I receive a single occupancy room with AC, fan, almirah, cupboard, mattress, a 7-foot-long mirror, a whiteboard, and a pinboard, with daily room cleaning facilities. Food is mostly South Indian, but we receive chicken three days a week.

Faculty: Teachers are passionate about teaching; they are here because it is their passion; otherwise, they could get a higher salary in any corporate company. Their teaching is of high quality and they have knowledge of all subjects. The course is well-structured, and mentoring by IIM Bangalore PGP is a two-year course. The first year is common for all; from the second year, we are free to choose subjects. The course mostly revolves around case studies from Harvard University. Two exams are conducted during the three-month term, which are mostly case-based. However, communication with supporting staff is difficult because they only know Telugu.

Other: The regional language is a problem as they do not understand any language other than Telugu, making communication very difficult.

About the campus of Visakhapatnam.

Placements: There will be a structured mechanism that should be strictly followed by the placement in-charge to ensure that all students get placed in some top companies with the best packages. The rate of success in placement for the course of PGP would be 72 to 89% definitely. Rest of them succeeded or not it's mostly based on the drive toughness.

Infrastructure: I am overwhelmed to share the infrastructure and facilities of IIM Visakhapatnam. It's a beautiful space fully filled with beautiful souls and good vibes only. Events are arranged in great manner, and the students from other colleges participate in such events.

Faculty: Teachers randomly pick the students from the whole class and give them some responsibilities, and it is shifted to another person after a month. There are no specific choices or anything insisted by the teachers from an academic perspective. Teachers usually decide to show quality among the students.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In my college, every student got a job with a good salary package. Packages like 40 LPA are high; this is the top role offered in our course, and 7 LPA is low, while 15 LPA is the average in our courses. Top recruiting companies like Symbiosis Technology, Wipro Limited, etc., offered jobs to 100% of students.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very impressive for our courses and departments. 24*7 Wi-Fi is present, labs, classrooms, and the library are fine; there are no other words. Yes, the hostel is pretty good. The mess provides very hygienic varieties of food, although it is costly. Medical facilities and sports/games are available.

Faculty: We are lucky to have these teachers; they are very helpful for students to understand and gain more knowledge. They are highly experienced with good qualifications. All facilities are available for students to be industry-ready. Our college passing percentage is 95; we have seen some find it difficult to pass.

IIM Visakhapatnam is a perfect place to pursue a financial degree.

Placements: The course I opted for at IIM Visakhapatnam was PGP. The placement percentage was very good. Almost 100% of students got placed. Companies like Amazon and Flipkart visited the college for placements, offering roles such as financial manager. The highest package offered was 90 LPA, with an average package around 25 LPA. Almost every student gets an internship in their final year with good companies with proper stipends.

Infrastructure: As we all know, IIM campuses were well-equipped with all the future amenities. I really miss my campus a lot. The infrastructure of classrooms and hostels were excellent and maintained in a proper and neat manner. The food available was great and hygienic, and all facilities like sports, a medical center, and a supermarket were present inside the campus.

Faculty: Faculty was highly skilled and helpful to students in academics. They also provide personal suggestions to students if they ask, such as what to do next in their life. They also provide personal training to students upon request. The quality of teaching was, of course, great.

Other: The course I took was PGP. Which I pursued after completing my graduation. I had a desire to complete my degree in finance. So I chose this course. Events like Samarambh were held while I was on campus. The campus was surrounded by a neat and peaceful atmosphere. The connectivity of the city was very good. There were many clubs, departments, and extracurricular activities like sports, which many students, including me, used to play every day whenever we had free time.
