Fabulous university of Dehradun.
Placements: About 85% of students are placed every year, and the faculty told me more about it that in the last year of graduation and postgraduate, companies start to visit. I also would like to get a fabulous placement, but not by the university placement rate, through hard work.
Infrastructure: I do not visit the hostel, I cannot afford the hostel, but my landlord told me about the hostel that there is a better mess with high security for students, no doubt about it, and parents can believe blindly in the hostel of Quantum. I also like the hostel, but it can be costly for me.
Faculty: I do not have experience because it is my first year of college life; that’s why, first of all, I do not have experience. The other thing is I cannot give any fake information about it, but this will also be awesome because companies demand skills, and everything depends on study and results.
Other: I chose B.Com (Hons) to build a valuable career.

Compared to Roorkee colleges, Our college is good, but compared to other colleges, it is average.
Placements: Our college provides average placements in companies like IndusInd, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, etc. From the entire batch, sometimes only 5 to 6 students get placed out of like 300 students. About 5 to 6 students get placed with good roles like a consultant, marketing manager, sales manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college include labs, classrooms, library, smart boards, sports room, dance room, theatre club, music room and 3-4 auditoriums. The food served here is average. I am a day scholar and not a hosteler, but I have tasted the food served in the hostel, which is below satisfactory. Medical facilities are available, and an ambulance is also provided as the hospitals are situated nearby only. Q-cafe is available, and medicines are available. Day to day needed things are also provided in the hostel.
Faculty: Only the management staff members are above the satisfaction level here. Their teaching quality is good, whereas the technical department is not much good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it provides good certification and subjects. It makes us completely prepared for the industry.
Other: Events, fest and extracurricular activities organised here are good. Every month, we get various opportunities.

Review of Quantum School of Graduate Studies (Admission Office).
Placements: Placement opportunities offered in our university are not that good. Around 30% of the students got placed in our course, which is not that high. The highest salary package offered is around 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Rubicon, Insplore, HDFC and BOB. Almost 90% of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are satisfactory. Transportation fee charged is high, but it is not worthy. The library is not large and not enough updated, and the campus is also small. In the hostel, food is of average quality, and students can only survive during eating but not enjoy it. Electric backup is good enough. There is a sports ground, but it is not huge. Medical facilities are available here, but canteen is small.
Faculty: Faculty members here are above-average. Employee turnover is high, which became a difficulty for students and a huge problem. Teachers are experienced. The course structured for our B.Com honours is based on Delhi Universities pattern, and it is relevant to our curriculum. It makes us industry-ready if we do self-study a lot with campus training.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am highly interested in commerce. I wish the college to improve employees turnover, transportation facility, library updation and many other things.

Review of Quantum School of Graduate Studies (Admission Office).
Placements: Opportunities provided by Quantum University are overall good and in case of B.Com specific, it is satisfactory. Around 40 - 50% of the students get placed from college. The highest salary package offered in the previous year was 1.7 LPA. Insplore Rubicon to the new HDFC are some companies that visited the campus for recruitment. Around 90% of the students got internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The building of our university is beautifully structured but the campus is small. Infrastructure facilities like lab, library, canteen, and transportation are provided. The Wi-Fi facility is provided at some cost. Hostel facilities are average as I stayed in the hostel for around 1 year. For electricity off course backup is provided. The quality of the food served is average. The hostel building as not as good as compared to campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well qualified and experienced but as we know all teachers are not the same. Some are good and helpful while some are not. If I talk about course structured for our B.Com (Hons) in accounting and finance it is similar to Delhi University. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes us ready for the corporate world.

Faculty members are very knowledgeable, and seniors are very friendly and helpful.
Placements: Almost 75-80% of the students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered for B.Com (Hons) is 3.5 LPA, the minimum salary package offered is 1.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 1 LPA. Many companies visit our university for recruitment, and some of them are SBI, HDFC, Rubicon, etc.
Infrastructure: Our university provides lots of facilities such as computer labs with Wi-Fi connection and classrooms with curtain and whiteboard, very comfortable furniture and CCTV cameras. There is a library which has lots of collection of books for every course. There are also books which are not related to the course. There is a very good space for silent reading, and students can issue books for a minimum of 14 days. The hostel of our university is very good, comfortable and adjustable, and it feels like our home without parents. There are a bed, almirah and study table for every hosteler. Quality of food is good and tasty. We get morning breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner daily with a proper routine. There is a small dispensary in our college for an acute problem. An ambulance is also available to go to the nearby hospital if there is any serious case. There is a football ground, basketball ground, tennis courts, badminton courts, cricket ground, etc., with specialised trainers.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified with a minimum qualification of MBA, and most of them are PhD holders. Faculty members have in-depth and accurate knowledge about their subjects, and they teach in such a perfect way so that an academically average student can easily understand it. B.Com (Hons) curriculum is relevant. Students in this course are industry-ready because they get practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. Almost every week there is a competition organised by our college, and students take part in not only as a competitor but also as an organiser and coordinator. Such practices improve students' confidence level and enhance knowledge also.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in commerce course and have a very strong accounting base and knowledge. To the enchantment of my interests, I have chosen B.Com (Hons) finance. I think all the things which are offered in the course are enough for commerce graduation. Almost every week there is an event in our college, and students who are interested in participation have a very good chance to show their knowledge. Many fests are organised in the university, and our annual fest is the grand fest which continues till 3-4 days. Students of many colleges come here and have participation. In this university, students are from almost all regions and from SAARC also.
