R. C. Patel Institute of Technology. We are autonomous.

Placements: In our college, the placement depends on branch and your skills, which is how you have skilled yourself. Basically, the branches like mechanical, electrical, and civil have high placement rates than other. Almost 98% students get placed by our college. The highest package of our college last year was 12.5 LPA, which was off-campus. The average package is of 3 LPA, but ultimately it all depends up to you. Various companies visit our college, such as TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and all. The main thing in our college is that we have a separate Training and Placement department.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of our college and hostels is good. The classrooms are very well-furnished and have proper lighting. 2 AC +6 fans per room. Labs are also very good, there are a total of 15 labs for the computer engineering department. 24/7 Wi-Fi is available in the college. You can also access the books from the library. Whenever you want to sit in library, you can, but just have to follow the rules. The hostel gives good facilities. Just the food is not good at the mess, but the college canteen has good quality food. In hostel, there are some tools for exercise.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, and they teach very well. Some teachers will treat you like friends, and they will clear your doubts whenever you visit them. The faculty of our department of computer engineering. The course curriculum is relevant, but needs to increase the level because the industry needs skills, not theoretical knowledge, so you have to develop your own skills. The semester papers are divided equally between our college and half is from the DJ Sanghvi Institute of Technology, so you can guess the level of the papers.

Other: When I was in class 11th, I saw my friend doing coding. I was shocked by how the logic is applied and how it works. I liked it so much that I decided to be a software developer. The things to improve are just to focus on our skills. There are lots of fests and events organised by our college. Scholarships are given to merit-based students.

Merit College journey in RCPIT.

Placements: My college offers internships and placements every year. The highest package in my college is 18 LPA. The average package is around 4.5 LPA. Every year, the college gives around 90-92% of placement and also helps students for off-campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good. My college provides Wi-Fi, computer labs, AC classrooms, and a digital and offline library. The college provides a neat and hygienic canteen for students to have their breakfast or lunch. It also takes care of hygiene and clean environment of the college.

Faculty: My college faculty are very kind and helpful. All completed Ph.D. and master's in their respective subjects. Their teaching shows their qualifications and their expertise in their subjects. From the first year, the college provides students ready for aptitude exams.

Other: My first priority is I want an autonomous college. From these years, the college has provided more than 360 intake. The college provides computer, electrical, mechanical, data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning every year. The college organizes tech fests every year.

College has good Infrastructure, teaching and facilities.

Placements: In my college, up to 90% of students got placement with a good package. The highest salary package offered is about 12.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is about 2.5 LPA. Companies like TCS and Cognizant come to our college. Around 40% of students got internships in our college.

Infrastructure: In our college, all resources are available, like Wi-Fi, which is available 24/7. Lab infrastructure is also good, and classrooms in our college are digital with digital screens. Library also has good infrastructure. In our hostel, the Wi-Fi range is bad. Games and sports are available in our hostel.

Faculty: In our college, teachers are well-qualified, PhD holders, and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Our college has all specifications. Semester examinations are very difficult in our college because DJ Sanghvi College circulates their papers in our college. About 90% of students pass in our college.

RCPIT, We are autonomous.

Placements: In the computer engineering course, the placement ratio is overall good, but the packages are low. The highest package went to the Data Science branch, which is about 12.5 LPA. The average is about 3 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. TCS also visits our college. The college is also going to provide us with internships from this year.

Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. There are good labs and classes. Wi-Fi facility is also available in college. There are separate labs for each and every subject. There are more than four labs for the computer engineering department. Seniors are very friendly. Things like ragging, etc., don’t happen in college.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly. You can ask your doubts during college hours. They are well-qualified. I don’t know about the previous syllabus, but from this year, they are giving us training for mock interviews, aptitude, etc. Semester exams are not much difficult, and the passing percentage of students is good.

Other: The best thing is that they are preparing us from the first year. It is an autonomous college. Fests are average.

Placements: The college provides good placements. The average package is 4 LPA, and the highest package is 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini and Persistence. The roles offered by the company are associate software developers and testers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is the best. It provides the best facilities to students from their side. The college has well-equipped labs available. The hostel is good and provides good facilities to students, but the food is not satisfactory at the hostel. No sports or games are available.

Faculty: Teachers in college are very helpful; you can ask them anything and they will solve your problem. Teaching quality is the best. Every teacher is a Ph.D. holder so they have good experience and knowledge. College exams are not that difficult because combined passing is available.
