Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2025
Offered by G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur
4.0

Review of G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: There is a lot of scope in both the core as well as IT sectors for the discipline of MCA as Adobe, Amazon, Samsung, and Capgemini are a few of the IT sectors and core sectors like Mercedes Benz, L&T, and Ashok Leyland are involved in the hiring phase of the MCA and offered 25.8 LPA as the best package yet.
Faculty: Teachers with technical as well as theoretical standards who can manage the students even in the hardest situations. Teachers with a centralised stance won't argue for the students or for the management. They focus on their work responsibilities and the related stuff. To get seats and it's unavoidable to write the qualification exam like the MAH MCA CET exam conducted by the college. The cutoff scores would vary from year to year to gain a seat one must work hard to grab it. There are no discussions between the management and the parents in considering the fees expected for the entire course. It is always fixed and undoubtedly more expensive than the other colleges.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur
3.8

It is definitely a great choice for anyone looking for one of the best colleges in Nagpur.
Placements: 50% or fewer students got placed. The highest package offered to a Mechanical Engineering student was 12 Lacs and the lowest was around 3 LPA. The average is about 4-5 LPA. 60-70% got internships (last batch). I don't have much idea about the companies. The top roles offered were assistant engineer, engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very awesome when it comes to the mechanical department. Top classrooms and labs. Wi-Fi is still an issue. The college doesn't provide us with Wi-Fi, and also classrooms have very low network, so the internet is very slow. Not applicable for the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated and behaved. 10/10 for faculty. The curriculum is very good. Exams from this college are a little tough (personal opinion), but it is manageable because the college focuses more on making students industry-ready. The mid-sem exams are much easier compared to end-semester exams. 10% of students get detained or have a backlog in every semester here.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, Amravati
4.0
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Decent placements, supportive faculty, and average infrastructure.
Placements: Around 60–70 percent of the eligible students got placed through campus. Not everyone was eligible, as there was a CGPA cutoff. The CSE batch had better placements than others. The highest package was 9–10 LPA, the lowest was 4–5 LPA, and the average was 5.5–6 LPA. Top recruiters were TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Mahindra, Infosys, and local IT companies. Around 40–50 percent of my batch got internships. Top roles offered were testing roles, IT support, system engineer, software engineer, and software developer/trainee.
Infrastructure: Labs were decent. We had 4–5 dedicated computer labs with 30–40 machines each, with decent configurations, good for coding in Python, Java, C, C++, and ML. Classrooms had fans, projectors, and whiteboards. The library and central library had all the books that were required. Hostel rooms were okay, shared by 2–3 persons, with basic B.Ed study tables, fans, and lights. Mess food was typical Maharashtra food, dal, roti.
Faculty: Teachers were mostly qualified (M.Tech/PhD). Some were really helpful and explained concepts clearly and guided in projects. The syllabus covered standard CS topics (Programming, Algorithms, DSA, DBMS, and some AI/ML electives). Semester exams were moderately difficult, theory required understanding. Internals and externals were strict. Backlogs were rare if students studied regularly.
Other: I picked CSE because it was versatile and had good scope in IT and software. Things I wished could be improved included more practical and updated syllabus, better Wi-Fi connections, and stronger coding clubs and hackathons to push students. The annual event called Antragini was a mix of cultural, sports, and technical events.

B.Tech. in Data Science Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by G H Raisoni Institute of Business Management, Jalgaon
4.0
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Decent campus, average placements.
Placements: I belong to the 2026 passing-out batch from B.Tech Data Science. Around 60 percent of students get placed. The highest package is about 8 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro hire students. Many students also do internships in good startups.
Infrastructure: Our Data Science department has spacious classrooms, decent labs, Wi-Fi, and a library with good books. Hostel rooms are clean, mess food is average, and the canteen has snacks. Medical facilities are basic, and sports options like cricket, football, and indoor games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is average. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately tough, and the pass percentage is around 70–75 percent. Some practical skills are taught, but more hands-on projects would help.
Other: More information should be provided to students who are curious about the subject. The campus should be larger like an NIT.

The reality of good college. It has a good culture and crowd.
Placements: Many companies came last year for the batch of 2025, including IBM, Deloitte, and Accenture. Many came, and mass recruiters like Capgemini also hired many students. Placements look promising, even in a down period. Packages were not fully disclosed, but according to some, the highest was above 12 LPA, but I am not sure.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is one of a kind. The campus is not big, but the building is very efficient and relatively large. The hostel is also relatively okay; the biggest advantage is that it is very near the college, so travel is easy. The library is very big and fully supports studying. Labs are fully equipped, and classrooms have full technology and comfortable seats but lack AC.
Faculty: Teaching is good. Teachers actually try to teach. Exams are also justifiable and come from the syllabus. There is no cheating in exams, and grading is good. Course subjects are relevant to their branch, and other course subjects are also added. Exams are normal not that hard, not that easy.
Other: I got the course because it was the best course I could get with my percentile. I would like a better classroom environment, like AC, because in summer it gets very hard. Events happen very frequently. The biggest non-academic event occurs 3-4 times a year, and academic events keep happening every month.

Average placements in 2026, many opportunities to explore, and the infrastructure is average.
Placements: In the 2026 batch, almost 60% of students from the CSE Department got placed in their 7th semester, and most of them are placed in the mass recruiters like Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, HCL, Infosys. The average package is 4 to 5 LPA, and the highest in our course is 8 LPA. Most of the students got the internship as part of the training at the companies where they are hired. Some students got internships at Moil Nagpur.
Infrastructure: The library in GHRCE is quite vacant and a perfect place for group studies. The college also provides many labs with well-equipped desktops. Wi-Fi is provided only during seminars or hackathons. The sports room is also very cosy and provides ample opportunities for sports enthusiasts.
Faculty: Teachers at GHRCE are really helpful and supportive, and the teaching quality is quite good compared to other colleges in Nagpur. The course curriculum keeps updating as per the industry requirements, but this is not enough for students to survive in the industry. We need to do some coding courses on an online platform to gain real-world insights. The passing percentage is quite good. It's nearly above 85%, and the exam pattern is also as per the education standards.
Other: The placements are the best in Computer Science. The curriculum should be updated as per the company's requirements. Girl students should definitely take advantage of the EBC Scholarship as it helps a lot. The events are really good, like we get a lot to explore. The college has a lot of clubs in every domain, ranging from Social Service like NSS, Cultural, Forums and Technical Clubs like IEEE, GDSC, etc.
