It is a good college for studying microbiology with great faculty members.
Placements: There was no placement assistance from the college side in the year 2019. The reason being ours was a general honours course, but many students from our batch got a job from off-campus. It is because of the quality of education that our college has provided to us. They make us eligible for getting placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: Our college is in Midnapore, and the infrastructure is commendable. They have decent microbiology labs, and there were a total of 3 labs with sufficient equipment and helpful lab assistants. Labs were air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi facility. The library had a good collection of books ranging from subjective to journals to newspapers. There was a canteen inside our campus which offered good quality food at affordable prices, and there were also several food stalls outside the main gate. I haven't stayed in hostels, but I have heard from my friends staying there that hostels were very good with security.
Faculty: Faculty members at our college were extremely supportive and helpful. Most of the faculty members were PhD holders from reputed colleges, and few were pursuing PhD. They were highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching style was mostly practical-based, which is helping me in the master's course. They make us industry-ready with the quality of the course they provide us.
Other: Our campus is lush green, which I liked the most. The environment is great for studying with a practical impact.

Our college has value for your money.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements facility for UG students. But the course and curriculum here make one educated in true sense. So that you can take up further studies in good universities. They make you eligible to work in the industry as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was above par. There were 3 labs i.e., microbiology lab, biochemistry lab and molecular biology lab with sufficient amount of reagents and equipment with air-conditioners installed in 2 labs out of 3 labs. Wi-Fi facility was available in both college blocks and hostels. There was a central and separate departmental library where subject related books were available in the departmental library. Hostels were well-equipped with modern facilities like Wi-Fi, security but the food served in the mess was not that good. There was a separate canteen which served good quality of foods at a minimal rate.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were well qualified and experienced with always ready-to-help attitude, which I like the most about our college. Though the number of faculty members was less, still they don't make you feel anything missing or different. They teach in a practically oriented way by giving an example and sharing practical knowledge. The course curriculum was highly relevant.
