This college provides good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: In this college, students were not offered placements, but it was understandable as companies were less with a B.Sc in psychology. So, students were encouraged to go for higher studies by the faculty members, and they guided them very well.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi was enabled on the campus. There were 4 laboratories just for psychology. It also provides a huge library, hostel with good facilities, classrooms with projectors, clean washrooms, drinking water facility, etc. Students even had regular workshops.
Faculty: In this college, teachers were very supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable. They always had time for students. The course curriculum was relevant. The exams were of moderate. So almost every one was able to clear all the exams without any difficulty.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in psychology since school. The students got exposure in other branches of psychology that were no a part of our curriculum as well. Students had a lot of events and fests. The campus crowd was healthy. There were scholarships for those in need, and a lot of extracurricular activities were held.

Review of the B.Sc. Psychology course at Rajagiri.
Placements: An adequate number of placements are offered. A previous batch was offered placements, but many opted to pursue higher studies. Master's students are offered placement opportunities in both the teaching and clinical fields. After completing a bachelor's degree, some experience can be gained through internships, but it is mandatory to complete higher-level education to enter the clinical field.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were spacious and adequately lighted. The college provides Wi-Fi services for students to use throughout the day. The library contains an extensive selection of books, spanning over three floors. You'll find books pertaining to every subject, including journals and textbooks required for the course you're pursuing. As for leisure reading, there is a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books as well. The girls' hostel was well maintained. There were options for individual, 2-shared, or dorm rooms. The food provided at the mess and college canteen was healthy and of good quality.
Faculty: Teachers in our psychology department were incredibly qualified and knowledgeable. Every single faculty member was approachable, whether it was regarding doubts about the lessons taught or seeking guidance with our research or dissertation work. The syllabus is up-to-date and an adequate number of skills are enhanced through the assignments and project work that are given. The department ensured that the research-related foundation was established firmly by teaching us about both qualitative and quantitative research styles as well as how to use the SPSS software. Exams can be easily managed by following a strict and disciplined study plan.
Other: Choosing the B.Sc. Psychology course at Rajagiri allowed me to come out of my shell and truly grasp and understand the extent of my skills. The opportunities provided, both intra and inter-college, are numerous. The fests organised by the college are national level. The organising strategy that goes behind it is meticulously carried out, which allows you to understand your place when it comes to carrying out important tasks and responsibilities.

It has an excellent infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There are fewer placements provided for our course, but the college offers a lot of good placement opportunities for the other courses it provides. Our department puts a great deal of emphasis on internships and actively encourages students to participate in internships right from their first year.
Infrastructure: Our department has excellent infrastructure and facilities. Our psychology lab is well-equipped with test materials that have personal relevance, and our library has an amazing collection of books that is more than sufficient for our reference purposes. Our classrooms are well furnished and spacious, with smart boards that enhance our learning experience. There are two canteens, gym facilities, a basketball court, sports grounds, and the most loved recreational spot, Amigo. Wi-Fi is available both on campus and in hostels. There are in-campus hostels for girls that are well maintained and provide good quality food.
Faculty: Faculty members in our department are top-notch. They are extremely helpful, well-qualified, highly knowledgeable, and always willing to support us in all our endeavors. The course curriculum is extremely relevant and provides an insight into all major disciplines of psychology. We were encouraged to take seminars that increased our confidence as well as our expertise in the subject. The difficulty level of the semester exams more or less depends on the level of preparation. Our department lays special emphasis on research, and we are given an opportunity to undertake both qualitative and quantitative research at our undergraduate level.
Other: An add-on course, PEBL, was provided to enhance our knowledge of the subject. I would especially like to thank Dr. Jessy Fenn, who gave rock-solid support throughout my research. The college fest, Splendor, and the departmental fest, Pyesta, are the most anticipated events.

Review of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences - RCSS.
Placements: Completion of master's degree is required to get proper placements in the psychology field. There are no recruitment companies for bachelors and many students get internships during vacations as part of the program. The students in our batch get admissions for M.Sc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The whole college is solar-powered, and also has a rainwater harvesting system. The campus is eco-friendly. It also provides a library. The laboratories are available to the students. The psychology department has a separate laboratory with computers having special software to conduct psychological tests such as PEBL and for research like SPSS. There is also a department fest and a college fest which are equally exciting and invigorating for the students.
Faculty: Teachers are good, knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. The psychology department is more like a close-knit family as students build friendships working for the department fests and other programs. Students who complete the B.Sc psychology program from Rajagiri are probably one step ahead of students studying the same from other colleges as students have more exposure and have to do 2 projects or thesis for the final year. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but I topped 2 semesters.
Other: The best thing about the course is the additional things it offers like an introduction to PEBL software, proper practical class as students have a big collection of psychological tests to do, and the projects. There is nothing, I would change about the college. I just hope the current faculty members stay at the college because they are the best. There are a lot of extra-curriculars offered like various clubs. I joined NSS, it is a beautiful experience. There are a lot of opportunities to conduct or host programs, dance, sing, etc.

An experience of personal growth - recommended for anyone with an eye for psychology.
Placements: The placement cell provides the required placement assistance. Students from the bachelor program senior years, as well as first and second-year M.Sc. students, are also given career guidance and orientation sessions throughout the year to help them choose the next step.
Infrastructure: The department provides all necessary equipment, with two psychology labs, a computer lab specifically for B.Sc. students, and an excellent library. Hygiene is well maintained, and washrooms are available on all floors and areas throughout the campus. There are multiple canteens apart from mess halls in the hostels. Sports are also encouraged. There is adequate medical attention available within the main educational blocks itself, with professional attention and first aid.
Faculty: Teachers are very skilled at managing students at the group and individual levels. Their application-level teaching is relatable and in line with the syllabus. It helps students to build character and professionalism. The passing percentage is 35. The exams are moderately difficult and students can score good grades through consistent learning and conceptual clarity.
Other: I chose B.Sc. psychology out of growing interest in the subject. The psychology department of Rajagiri-RCSS has a high reputation which prompted me to apply here. Throughout the course, I have MET individuals from various backgrounds, including teachers, students, and professionals from abroad, who had a positive impact on me in terms of subject knowledge, building cross-cultural connections, memorable experiences, and fruitful discussions about plans. This was made possible through many events such as seminars, educational visits to the campus by knowledgeable personalities, and the opportunity to conduct and attend many events as students.
