Not only focus on academics, but also on other domains like sports, skills, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced and good at their teaching skills. Exams are conducted according to the timetable provided in the daily calendar. Teachers here are well qualified, helpful for the practical life knowledge. Extra classes are also kept, and syllabus is completed accordingly.

Not satisfied with the faculty members' knowledge, but having a good placement when self-learned.

Faculty: Teaching quality is average. Students have to do self-learning if they want to learn actual industry skills. The college just teaches the course, not the usage of that course in real life. As I said before, it’s just to make students exam-ready. Exams are easy.

Good placements, supportive faculty and a well equipped campus experience.

Faculty: Teachers in IT at Rajalakshmi Engineering College were generally helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable, with many holding PhDs and industry experience. The teaching quality was considered good focusing on both theory and practical learning. The curriculum was relevant and updated with industry needs, including coding, data Science, AI and placement-oriented training, which helps students become industry ready. Semester exams were of moderate difficulty, manageable with regular study, and the...

College review by the student in the college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching depends on the staff. They are not all the same. This course curriculum is relevant. I don't know about that, but our syllabus is more relevant to it. It is very difficult to score marks and get an O grade, and many get arrears.

Review of Rajalakshmi Engineering College.

Faculty: Many faculty members are well-experienced. Though some inexperienced staff are also surviving. On the basis of academics, it is very strict in the examination, not like other autonomous colleges. Difficulty of passing exam is high due to strict examination cell. Pass percentage is reduced too much.

Best engineering college in Chennai, with 95% placements.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-educated and they also have more knowledge. They are also friendly to us, and we can adapt to them easily. The questions created by ChatGPT for internal exams allow us to update our knowledge and our way of thinking, that's it too.

College and placements are good. Getting a seat through counseling is better.

Faculty: Teachers are good. If you are ready to use them, they will be ready to teach you and train you. The curriculum is not bad, and exam questions are generated by ChatGPT. The course curriculum is relevant, but its effectiveness relies heavily on the teaching.

Satisfied with our chosen faculty. Improvements have been made this year.

Faculty: Semester exams are moderate, and we can clear them if we study well. Don't study engineering; learn engineering. They will create a base for us, but we only have to build the building. For the students who are aiming to place, the training camps will be really useful. Now, a flexible timetable is also available for the students, so in free time, we can play anything, and especially for table tennis, they put tables in each block, or learn something in the library.

Satisfied because of good placement and infrastructure.

Faculty: As it is an autonomous college. The exams conducted are evaluated inside the college by REC faculty members only. The questions for exams are generated by ChatGPT. Some faculty members know things well and guide you well. On the other hand, there are also ones who'll just read PPTs and get paid.

Basically, placements are good in our college. I prefer students join this college for sure.

Faculty: All faculty members are dedicated and will complete the syllabus on time, with continuous assignments provided to students. Semester exams are straightforward, consisting mostly of direct questions. They will also provide important questions.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure and the playground.

Faculty: All teachers are skillful enough that they can repeat lessons if the students cannot understand. They are all calm and collected, so their teaching is very easy to understand and can be learned quickly. They are also skillful in teaching during our lab sessions.

In the past year, most of the students got placements and some went for higher studies.

Faculty: Staffs are well educated and experienced about semesters. There will be strict rules on it, and pass percentage is 50 or above. We should study the exact answers for the semester exams to get pass marks in all the subjects, no marks will be boosted on the exams. Faculty members are very chill and friendly to the students.

Good placements, solid syllabus, and needs better industry exposure.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching is mostly theory-focused but clear and helpful. The curriculum is solid and covers core AIML topics. A few outdated portions exist, but overall it gives a good base. Extra effort is needed to become industry-ready.

  • Go with LPU for a large-scale academic and placement ecosystem.

  • Choose SRM Ramapuram for urban tech exposure and balanced academics.

  • Opt for REC Chennai if you prefer a college tied to Anna University with more moderate costs and solid engineering traditions.
