Very good college to improve your knowledge and skills.
Placements: Placements are good. The placement training is excellent. The highest package at Rajalakshmi Engineering College is 25 LPA. The lowest package at Rajalakshmi Engineering College is 4 LPA. Many top companies like TCS, Zoho, and many others. Many of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are neat and clean. Labs are also neat and clean. At Rajalakshmi Engineering College, the library is good. The hostel facilities are good.
Faculty: It's very amazing and awesome. The syllabus is very easy and good. They are very helpful and kind. They help us a lot in improving our knowledge and skills. They provide extracurricular syllabus also so it is very helpful and knowledge. At Rajalakshmi Engineering College, the faculty members are good and very friendly to the students.

Not only focus on academics, but also on other domains like sports, skills, etc.
Placements: It provides many internship opportunities, and especially, the EEE department has a better scope. Symposiums conducted by our department increase our knowledge. Many companies like TVS also provide courses and internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Labs here have every facility, including the machines, components, electronic devices, and gadgets that are required to do the experiments. Devices are then and now checked for their efficiency and working, and changed and repaired accordingly.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced and good at their teaching skills. Exams are conducted according to the timetable provided in the daily calendar. Teachers here are well qualified, helpful for the practical life knowledge. Extra classes are also kept, and syllabus is completed accordingly.
Other: I had chosen EEE because it has scope in the present as well as in the future. Especially the EEE department is the basis for everything. It also has government job opportunities.

College review by the student in the college.
Placements: 70% of students got placed. I can't clearly say that 12 LPA is the highest package of our college. TCS is the company that visits our college, along with Accenture, Wipro, and some other top companies. There are companies that we go through online. Clubs are available in the college that would benefit the students.
Infrastructure: All good about the facilities and infrastructure available for our course and department. Food is moderate and the staff are above average. There was a health center in our college. They give a big opportunity in games and sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching depends on the staff. They are not all the same. This course curriculum is relevant. I don't know about that, but our syllabus is more relevant to it. It is very difficult to score marks and get an O grade, and many get arrears.
Other: I got this course in counseling. They should focus on one language. They are all good.

College and placements are good. Getting a seat through counseling is better.
Placements: Placement is good. We can get placed by our skills. All opportunities are available; the thing is, how we are going to use them. Companies like Zoho and Infosys will come for placement drives. The average package offered was nearly 3 LPA, while the lowest package was 1.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Information Technology and Computer Science have similar curricula. The hostel is just above average; 6 sharing beds in Habitat is okay, but the food was the worst. The campus is hygienic, with greenery around. The computer labs have basic facilities. Otherwise, it has good infrastructure, and there is a teachers' lounge.
Faculty: Teachers are good. If you are ready to use them, they will be ready to teach you and train you. The curriculum is not bad, and exam questions are generated by ChatGPT. The course curriculum is relevant, but its effectiveness relies heavily on the teaching.

Satisfied because of good placement and infrastructure.
Placements: More than 80% of students in my department who were eligible for placement got placed. There are super dream packages as well. Only if you are dedicated and have the required skills. Here, you'll get plenty of free time to learn. If you use that perfectly. You will succeed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not top-tier, but good. Hostel facilities are also good, but the food served in the hostel is one of the worst. If you opt for the AC hostel. There won't be a non-vegetarian menu option for you, non-vegetarian food is provided in non-AC hostels for boys, but only 3 times a week.
Faculty: As it is an autonomous college. The exams conducted are evaluated inside the college by REC faculty members only. The questions for exams are generated by ChatGPT. Some faculty members know things well and guide you well. On the other hand, there are also ones who'll just read PPTs and get paid.

Review of Rajalakshmi Engineering College.
Placements: Compared to other normal colleges, its placements are good. Top companies come for placements. Students get a minimum package of 4 LPA. Highest package is 32 LPA. REC provides both UG and PG courses. Most of the students get the internship from many companies. Many of the microprocessor companies are hiring.
Infrastructure: Hostel is average, and food is also average. Classrooms are neat. Library is very neat and silent, and most of the useful books are available in the library. Canteen is also neat, and the food is average. REC promotes sports and games normally. Medical treatment is really good.
Faculty: Many teachers are very friendly, and they clear the doubt during the class itself. Teaching quality is good. This makes the students study. This course is curriculum-relevant. It makes the industry ready. Semester exams at the Rajalakshmi Engineering College are average. Pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Because BE Electronics Communication Engineering has a better scope in future. Events and fests are better in college. Scholarship is good.

  • Go with LPU for a large-scale academic and placement ecosystem.

  • Choose SRM Ramapuram for urban tech exposure and balanced academics.

  • Opt for REC Chennai if you prefer a college tied to Anna University with more moderate costs and solid engineering traditions.
