Top recruiters for B.Tech at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Mumbai areAxis bankinfosysjustdialNSETCSLikesThere are many companies coming to our college and most of all the students are been selected and given different roles in the company. (20 Reviews)DislikesOnly Infosys and TCS visited the college, but many of the students were unplaced and didn't get a job. ( It has good placement cell facility and placement co-ordinator is good he helps to get you placed. And college has not too good not too bad placement records it has decent placement with decent packages.

{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Is BE/BTech at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai a good choice? Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:* Placement Statistics: Around 60-80% of students get placed, with an average package of 5-7 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and others. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA, while the lowest was 2.5 LPA.* Faculty Quality: Teachers are generally helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced. While some may not be of industrial-level expertise, they're willing to guide students.* Course Curriculum: The curriculum is largely relevant, although some students suggest it could benefit from updates to align with current technologies and industries.* Campus Life: The college has a good campus atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities for extra-curricular activities, festivals, and events. While the infrastructure is relatively good, some areas require improvement.* Internship Opportunities: Around 40-50% of students receive internships, often with companies like Infosys, TCS, and Tech Mahindra.* Career Guidance: Some students feel that the college could improve its career guidance services to better prepare students for placements.Overall, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai offers a solid education with reasonable placement prospects. While improvements can be made, the college seems to foster a positive campus culture and provide adequate resources for students. However, it's essential to weigh individual circumstances and goals carefully before making a decision.

{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Course Curriculum* The course curriculum is designed by Mumbai University, and it is followed by RGIT.* The curriculum is good, but it needs to be updated to reflect modern industry trends (students).* The curriculum is relevant and helps students gain knowledge in their core subjects (some students).* The curriculum is somewhat outdated and focuses mainly on theoretical aspects, requiring students to put extra effort to learn industry practices (some students).* The curriculum covers essential topics, but it could benefit from incorporating newer technologies and tools (one student).Note: Since multiple students mentioned similar points, I've summarized them under bullet points to provide a clear overview of the course curriculum.
