Decent campus life with average placements and basic facilities.

Placements: Placements for Mechanical students are average. Around 10–20% of students get placed. Mainly in service-based or support roles. The highest package is around 4–5 LPA, with the average ranging between 2.5 and 3 LPA. Core companies are rare, but a few students get internships in startups or through external platforms. Roles offered include Graduate Engineer Trainee and Maintenance or Design Intern. Most students prepare for higher studies or off-campus jobs due to limited on-campus opportunities.

Infrastructure: The department has basic lab facilities and classrooms, but some equipment is outdated or limited. Wi-Fi is available but not always reliable. The library is decent with useful textbooks. Hostels are manageable, though cleanliness and maintenance vary. Mess food is average and repetitive, while medical and sports facilities exist but are not well developed.

Faculty: Faculty is moderately helpful. Some teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, while others rely mostly on slides. The curriculum follows the university pattern but lacks strong industry connections or practical exposure. Exams are not too difficult if you study regularly. The pass percentage is quite high, but deep conceptual learning depends more on self-effort.

There are occasional fests and events, but extracurricular activities and clubs could be more active. The surroundings are peaceful but isolated, and connectivity to town is limited. Scholarships are provided for eligible students, which is helpful support. I chose Mechanical due to my interest in machines, but I wish there were more hands-on projects and industry interactions.

I am moderately satisfied with it. There is a good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Mostly toppers and good rankers get placements. The package offered ranges from 9-13 LPA, depending on the type of placements. Companies like Wipro, Tata, Tech Mahindra, etc., hire students. More than 75% of students get internships. Studies are very good. It also provide laptops.

Infrastructure: The college boasts modern infrastructure with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, a digital library, high-speed Wi-Fi, and spacious hostels. It also offers sports facilities, a hygienic canteen, and 24x7 medical support for student well-being. Everything is available here.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and student-friendly, focusing on both theoretical and practical learning. The course curriculum is industry-relevant and regularly updated. It includes projects, workshops, and hands-on training to ensure deep understanding and skill development.

Other: Events organised are just awesome.
