It is a good college for sports and NCC.

Placements: About 30 students in our batch got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like ZF Steering and Somic ZF visited our campus for placements. Top roles like maintenance engineer, production engineer and a quality engineer are offered to the students. The salary offered in our course was Rs. 15,000 per month. The college does not provide an internship opportunity for students.

Infrastructure: The college provides facilities for students. Labs are available, but there are no sufficient instruments. Wi-Fi facility is not available for the students. Classrooms are very good. Hostel facilities are also good. Sports and medical facilities are good in our college. But we do not spend much time in sports.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and subject-oriented. About 2-3 teachers are PhD holders, and remaining all are B.Tech and M.Tech qualified. Some teachers do not provide quality education. They do not make students industry-ready. They do not provide high-quality study.

Other: I have chosen this course because mechanical engineering is an interesting course. Design courses and training are provided from 2nd year onwards.

In CECC, there is discipline as well as education.

Placements: Nowadays, getting jobs for mechanical engineers is not easy. This college provided quality education, that means practical and theoretical knowledge is good. The mechanical students, to find jobs is a bit challenging.

Infrastructure: CECC have 2 main blocks like the main block, PG block main block for engineering, PG block and PG studies. Both are very good looking and well-designed blocks. There are both boys and girls hostels. Both hostels have very good Infrastructure. The canteen in this college is has a food section. There are seminar halls and indoor playgrounds. They all are also well designed and well developed.

Faculty: As a mechanical engineer, I know well about the staff and the course. All the faculty is good and have good knowledge in their subject. They are very helpful during and after the classes as well. The teaching quality is good and that's because of the experience.

Other: Chirala engineering college conducts every event grandly. Some of them are freshers, farewell parties, and they conduct these events separately by every branch. The fest is the main highlight in CECC. All the branches participate in this festival and it is held for 3 days. The campus crowd was 4000 in the year 2016.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, or any other examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, with the mentioned marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or equivalent along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards.
