Integrated B.Tech. in Electronics & Communications Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.6

Affordable college with supportive faculty members, decent facilities, and improving placement.
Placements: Placements at RGUKT Ongole are okay but not very great. Around 60-70% of students got placed from our batch. The highest package went up to around 8 LPA to 10 LPA, while the lowest is 2 LPA to 3 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini visited. Some students also get internships mainly in TCS and Infosys, which give good exposure. Most roles offered are software developer, testing engineer, and data analyst. Overall, placements are average but improving year by year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure here is decent. Classrooms have projectors and labs with computers and Wi-Fi. Library has good resources, and Wi-Fi is available around campus. Hostel rooms are spacious, with water and electricity backup. Food in the mess is average but manageable. Medical facilities are available on campus. Sports like cricket, volleyball, and indoor games are encouraged. Overall, facilities are okay for both academics and hostel life.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. The curriculum is industry-oriented but slightly theoretical. Exams are moderately difficult with a good pass percentage. Pass percentage is 40 marks to pass the exam. It's really hard here.
Other: I chose this course because of its integrated program structure and low fee. The best part is the exposure and opportunities given to rural students. Improvement in placements and advanced labs would make it even better.

3Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Supportive faculty, strong coding culture, good placements & peaceful campus life.
Placements: Placement percentage is 60-75%. Highest package is 32-35.5 LPA. Lowest package is 3-4.5 LPA. Average package is 6-12 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Capgemini, Accenture, Flipkart, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, ThoughtWorks, BOSCH, and ITC. Internship percentage is 30-60%. Internship companies are IITs, AICTE firms, Infosys, and startups. Top roles are VLSI Design Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, IoT Engineer, Telecom Network Engineer, Web Developer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, and Java/Python Developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi-enabled campus, well-equipped computer labs, electronics labs (for ECE), spacious digital classrooms with projectors, a central library with technical and non-technical resources, reading halls, seminar halls, and access to online journals. Separate hostels for boys and girls, 24/7 Wi-Fi, clean rooms with basic furniture, common study areas, and good water supply. Nutritious vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, hygienic dining halls, and a canteen providing snacks and beverages. On-campus health center with basic first-aid and doctor visits, tie-ups with nearby hospital for emergencies. Large playgrounds for cricket, football, volleyball, and athletics.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, approachable, highly qualified (most with M.Tech/PhD), and knowledgeable in their subjects. Teaching quality is generally good, with a focus on practical as well as theoretical aspects. Curriculum is relevant and updated to industry needs, with emphasis on coding, research, and skill development. Includes practical labs, projects, and industry-oriented training to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are of a moderately difficult level, exams test both conceptual understanding and problem-solving. Students who attend classes regularly and practice well can clear them without much difficulty. Pass percentage is generally high, around 85-90%, with most students able to clear their semester exams successfully.
Other: Integrated B.Tech (CSE/ECE/other branches), diverse peer group. I chose it because of early exposure to engineering, strong coding, and research focus. Best things are an industry-relevant curriculum, supportive faculty, peer learning, good projects & placements. Improvements, more advanced labs, stronger industry tie-ups, and more internships. Events & fests, Cultural, technical fests, hackathons, sports events. Campus crowd is energetic, diverse, and collaborative. Connectivity, good bus/train link to Ongole city. Surroundings are peaceful, green campus. Scholarship, government-funded, with fee waivers. Extracurricular, Sports, cultural clubs, NSS, and technical clubs.

Good at study but not in placements.
Placements: Only 5% of students got placements at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Andhra Pradesh, Ongole campus near Santhanuthalapadu. The highest package is 24 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: My college is like a palace. It is a very good place but not RGUKT college, it is a rented college. In our college, Wi-Fi is good. Hostel facilities are bad. Sports are also good. It is a good college.
Faculty: Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies is a good college. This college is good for studying.
Other: Scholarship is also good here.

Good placement and more knowledgeable teachers are there. All facilities are there.
Placements: 60% of students got placed. 35.5 LPA is the highest package, 4.5 LPA is the lowest package, and 12 LPA is average package on our campus. Top companies are recruited on my campus. 30% of students got internships in Bhuvaneshwar and some IITs. Roles offered are VLSI design, embedded system, and IoT.
Infrastructure: Facilities in the hostel are good, and provide quality food, medical facilities, sports, and games also. Food is available in the mess and canteen. It provides Wi-Fi in labs, classroom, and library. I enjoyed a lot on the campus. Our campus has good atmosphere.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good and more understandable for students. Course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that much difficult. 40% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Nothing is there to improve. Events and fests are held on campus.

The college is free and worth the money.
Placements: Placements are good. Almost 60% of students get placed. All companies recruit students. The highest package is 15 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Almost 80% to 90% of students get internships. All roles are offered, and all top companies recruit.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are not very good. Classrooms are okay. The quality and facilities in the hostel are okay. The mess food is not very good. There is a canteen. The medical facilities are good. There is also a big playground where we can enjoy sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and their teaching is good. There are 2 semesters in a year. The pass mark is 40 out of 100. Almost all students pass easily. The teaching quality is good, and teachers are knowledgeable. They help students in every situation.
Other: I chose this course because it's free. There are extracurricular activities and events. I think the mess and hostels should be improved.

My college is good at providing quality education to the students and encourages them.
Placements: Students getting placements in my college are above 86% and many more with a good package, like the highest package per student, 5.4 LPA. Average package per student is 3 LPA. Lowest package per student is about 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has an adjustable infrastructure, like classes, Wi-Fi service, and labs, but the library is very good with a lot of books. Quality of food is somewhat eatable. Hostel is congested, and canteen and medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Faculty on my campus are student-friendly. They always try to teach us beyond their knowledge and explain the subjects, and they support us a lot. It's in the hard level of exam mode, but pass percentage is good.
Other: I am interested in electronics & communication. This course offers a good position in the industry. Core subjects should be developed as much as possible. Surroundings are good and events are well planned.
