The worst college because of college environment, faculty members, placement, and sports.
Placements: No campus placement is available. From current year, only 5 students are placed from electrical department with 1.8 LPA salary. No other campus placement, except for 5 students. Only two companies will visit in 2025, which are sales company, excluding that no company has visited.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. We have labs with old versions of computers. They even take 15 minutes to start. At the start of semester the food is good but over time the food quality is the worst. There are no canteen, no sports, and no medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. Semester exams are easy. They taught only theory. They cannot make the students industry-ready. They don't even know which language is popular in the market for IT students. There is a communication gap between students and faculty members. Teachers are qualified, and all the teachers have studied at IIT.
Other: No fest is held, only painting and card decoration are held in this college.

Average college if you want to take admission study by yourself.
Placements: Nearly 70 students are present in information technology department and electrical engineering department. On-campus placements are nil so go for off-campus placements. I belong to IT department so for any internships or jobs, I have to go for off-campus. You can also prepare for GATE if you are willing electrical engineering or civil engineering.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, not too good not bad. Wi-Fi is not available on a daily basis. Classrooms has AC now, also library has AC which is a plus point and both are neat and clean. Food is average in mess. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games can be learned from seniors.
Faculty: The evaluation in our college is based on assessment including both first and end-semester exams. Class tests are two class tests, each of 10 marks for each subject per semester. Assignments/attendance require a component worth 10 marks, focusing on student performance in these areas.
Other: Not so much events are organizing here. Club is organized. Events and sometimes fests can happen. Scholarship is given to every student approximately which is good. Campus crowd is average. If you are interested in activities, you can join club of your interest.

It has bad infrastructure, bad placements, bad facilities, and bad teachers.
Placements: The placement cell is awful. Only a few students get placed that too off-campus. The lowest package is 2.4 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA and the highest package is 7 LPA and all are off campus. TCS, Infosys, etc., are mass recruiting companies and have not come here for the last 2 years. Only 5 to 6 students are getting internships in my course. Companies are anonymous and not disclosed by them. Software engineer, web developer, android developer, etc., are some roles offered to students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay as traditional seats like schools with whiteboards. Virtual classrooms are also there. Wi-Fi is available on campus and not in hostels. The library is big and spacious to accommodate much strength and knowledge. Computer labs are awful with old systems and Windows 7.
Faculty: The worst part is teachers. I would say we will soon understand that only 1 teacher is a real professor. The rest professors are there to tell us to sleep on tables in the name of knowledge and qualification. I don't understand a word they teach, maybe they've knowledge but the way of delivery is bad. The course curriculum is okay like if we study subjects that are for deep knowledge or GATE exams only. If studied well students will become industry-ready. Semester exams are awful and we are given marks for filling pages. The pass percentage is average subject-wise.
Other: I chose this course due to the rising demand for technology. The best thing is we have to code new things, we can design our own website and apps and it'll be fun. I wish the semester exams checking and my teachers were better. Rarely any events or fests are there. It has few sports opportunities. We don't have a sports coach even. We will get scholarships if eligible. Campus surroundings are dangerous with regular updates of a leopard roaming around the college. The campus crowd is average, not very modern, and progressive.

Review of conditions of Rajkiya Engineering College Bijnor.
Placements: Around 10% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package offered in our course is 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and HCL visit our college for placements. Around 15% of students got internships from this course in the above-mentioned companies.
Infrastructure: The college campus is not in large areas and it is just spread over 17 acres. Wi-Fi is available on only main campus. The library is good. Classrooms are also good. Facilities in the hostel are not good. There is a drinking water problem as they do not provide pure water to students.
Faculty: Teachers are helping in nature and help for future career and semester exams. All teachers are M.Tech qualified, and some are from NIT. The average level of the course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult in this college. Around 75% of students pass exams.
Other: No events are organised here, and we feel like a school here.

Infrastructure is good in comparison to other RECs but bad placements.
Placements: The placement scenario at our college Rajkiya Engineering College Bijnor is disappointing. There are no on-campus placements. The training and placement cell does not care about placements. They don't even call a single company. Maybe in future, they start working on it but as of now, there are only those students who got placements who applied off campus by their capability. There is no support and role of the college placement cell in off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Rooms of the hostel are big enough. It has a lot of space but you have to share rooms with two room partners. Three students can stay in one room but if you are lucky, you can get only one roommate. If you are very lucky, then you can get a single room but this cannot happen. Cleaning of the toilets is good on the ground floor but on the upper floors, there are no clean washrooms. Some toilets do not have doors.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and experienced. They have knowledge of their subjects but they teach in such a way that you have to study on your own. If you do not do self-study from YouTube or any notes, you can't lead semester exams. The question paper is set by the AKTU university which is generally based on previous year's question paper topics. It is not hard. It is moderate.

Nice college for students who don't want anything from college except a degree.
Placements: Placements are too bad in this college. The average package of this college is 3 LPA. Very few students can get intensive but no college student has to deal on campus for internships and should get placements himself. The top role is SDE1 for IT students.
Infrastructure: Labs are too bad. The infrastructure is not so good. There is a single block for all three branches. There is no proper Wi-Fi on the entire campus. In the hostels, there is very bad condition of bathrooms and mess. The food quality is not good.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good but some are very bad in terms of knowledge, professional skills, and teaching skills. Some faculty are well-qualified from top Indian colleges like IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is not so good because it doesn't make students industry-ready.

Rajkiya Engineering College Bijnor is one of the best colleges under AKTU University.
Placements: About 100% placement is given in our college based on your skills and curriculum examination marks. The highest package is about 11 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Wipro, etc. About 90% of students get an internship in our course in service-based companies. Top role offered is SDE1.
Infrastructure: In our campus, classrooms are well-maintained, with projectors, smart TVs, and virtual labs. Wi-Fi is available on our campus. The labs are well-furnished, and the library is too good and big, where all the course-related books are available. Hostels are good enough, the quality of food is best for the amount we pay to the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in our academics, and all are qualified from different NITs, private colleges, and IITs. Our college offers three courses, which are Information Technology, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. All three courses are relevant for industry purposes. The semester exams are not too tough. The passing mark is about 40%, which can be easily gained.

It has good faculty members and a good infrastructure. It has the worst placements.
Placements: This year, only 5% of students got placed till now. No single company visited our college this year. On average 3 LPA jobs are offered. Most of the companies that offered placements to students in past years are Wipro, TCS, and Byjus. Other students get placed by their own will. After the 2021 batch, no MNC company visited our college, and only 1 or 2 start-ups came here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is just for the namesake, or if I could say in this span of 4 years only 2-3 months, Wi-Fi connection is there. Some labs are in good condition. The library is full of course books. There is no canteen on campus, and we have Jannat ( shop name) to have tea and snacks outside our college. Mess food is also average. For medical facilities, a doctor is assigned who is not qualified as MBBS, and one nurse is available in girls' hostel for an emergency. Sports and activities are average.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and open to talk. The teaching quality is pretty good. The course curriculum is relevant for all who want the tag of the government institute and spend less amount of money to spend on education. Semester exams are average but the marking of AKTU is much more random because most evaluation is done on the basis of paper count. The pass percentage is 30%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in computer science. By admitting here we will get a government college tag and less amount of money will be spent on our course. Additional scholarship is given to economically weaker sections of students.
