Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University Jaunpur (B.Teach).

Placements: Not a high level of placement available, but 30 percent of students got placement. This percentage may fall in any year. Internships are available, but not at that level. I think the lowest package is around 50,000. About the placement, it's not so good. But in other aspects, it's good.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The library and labs are available in good condition. Every needed thing is available for students. Canteen food is also good. They also have a separate playground and different buildings for labs and classes. Overall, good infrastructure at all.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. They organize 2 sessional exams, viva, lab, and final semester exams. The curriculum courses are also helpful and relevant. Semester exams are difficult but not that much. If you are paying 100 percent attention to your studies, then it's easy for you.

Other: It's in my hometown. Another reason is they organize extracurricular activities and lectures. They are very disciplined and punctual about classes and labs.

Friendly review of VBSPU.

Placements: This is an average college but the worst thing about it is the CTPC of this college. They do not have connections with any company just call one or two companies past year 2024. The placement percentage is around 5-8% so in the placement area this is bad. You are on your own.

Infrastructure: Hostel is good. We have indoor games. Wi-Fi facility, emergency generator facility, water supply room, gym, and mess all are great. VBSPU has multiple hostels for boys and girls. It is divided according to year of students. Having your own bicycle or bike would be great and would make you at ease.

Faculty: Exams are not that difficult if you know the basics. This is B.Tech so you have to study one night to crack it. Faculty members are quite good. Some aren't but that would not affect the course. Curriculum is similar overall same as any other university.

Review of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University [VBSPU].

Placements: Placements for information technology and computer science are average. Wipro, Infosys and some other average companies offer placements. You can't have much expectations about on-campus placements. So, you can go for offline placements. The placement cell is good.

Infrastructure: The facilities are good. Our warden is responsible. LAN connection is available for internet. The hostel is neat and clean. Hot and cold water facilities are provided. Mess facilities are good. Ward ladies are helpful. Security is good. Girls' hostel is the best.

Faculty: Teachers are polite. Some teachers are good in their subjects. They are helpful and listen to your problems carefully. Most of the students are dissatisfied with their help though. Teachers available are very few for engineering departments. But they are polite.

Other: Placements should be better. Fests and some events should be organised.

Placements: About 50% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. It provides the best facilities and studies at a low cost.

Placements: This college is well-reputed in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, only 40-50% of students are placed in IT this year. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, while the average salary package offered is around 2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 1 LPA to 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Teknovance Pvt Ltd, Mitwa TV, Swiggy, BHEL, and many more. The internships program which the college offers is not good, and students have to do it on their own. Students get placed as technicians, sales and services, web designers, video editors.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this institute is big in almost 10 districts. The institute has its central library which provides all our courses books semester. Classrooms are well furnished and have a capacity of almost 60-80 students. Laboratories are well maintained and can be used for 60 students at a time, PCs are provided with an internet facility. The hostel is clean and the rooms provided are very spacious, and the mess facilities are also good. Quality is food is also good. The hostel is provided with a gym, sports court. There are 24X7 ambulance is available for students.

Faculty: The professors are well qualified and helpful. The course curriculum is not relevant, and students have to develop skills on their own. The semester's exams are not much difficult and can be cracked easily. Almost 80-90% of students get passed in every semester examinations.

Other: The best thing about the course is that it is relevant to the future, due to advancement in the technical field. There should be more practical exposure than theoretical knowledge. There are various cultural programs are held by the institute. It is a public university so almost every student gets a scholarship.

It has poor placements, infrastructure, and teachers not good enough.

Placements: The placements here are not even lying under the satisfactory category. I won't recommend taking admission here. Or if you have no choice then just focus on your preparation for off-campus placements. That's the only thing you could do about it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is so poor as much I have seen here. The infrastructure management is so poor that you won't be happy to roam around as it would be boring. The university is spread in a big area, but the buildings or the infrastructure is poor.

Faculty: It has poor faculty members and curriculum.

It is not a good college for the course, but extracurricular activities and sports are good.

Placements: About 40% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered ranges from 7-8 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 1-2 LPA. A top recruiting that visit our college for placements is TCS. About 50% of the students got an internship in companies like Infosys, Paytm, Zomato, etc. Data structure and algorithms are most important for our coding. When we learn this way, then coding quality is good and performance are too good .

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library are available in our college, but faculty members do not share the library's Wi-Fi. The library is too small, and students cannot survive. The library is not peaceful. Good quality of food is served in the canteen. Classrooms are not good here.

Faculty: Faculty members teaching is not good, and they do not help students. They do not make students industry-ready. Teachers are not good, and I do not know how to takes notes during the lesson. Teachers performance is bad. Their interaction is not good with students and other teachers.

Other: I have chosen this course because our course scope is too good and we gain extra knowledge for online networking. I think the college should improve our coding. Scholarships are available in our college. Extracurricular activities conducted at our college are also good.

Faculty members of computer science and information technology are very poor.

Placements: Placements in college are not that good. However, the placement cell is doing their work as they can do for students but not much good companies are visiting the campus. There are many fraud companies visited the campus and we were very disappointed with it. But it is okay as the college is not located in an industrial area.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is fine, but it needs many improvements. As the government provide funds for a better change, there are internal bodies of university and college who doesn't spend money and use all money on their own. So college is the same as it was. However, in the last 1-2 years, there were many good changes done here. So the infrastructure is improving, but slowly.

Faculty: In 1st-year, faculty members were very good, but afterwards, in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year, there is very poor condition of teaching staff members. They are like hollow mind persons. They only came for earning money, not for providing knowledge. There is a very bad condition, and it is a request for somebody to change and provide good and educated teachers. Our new VC sir Raja Ram Yadav is too good. After his appointment, we have seen very good changes here. But in computer science and information technology branches, there is a very bad condition of teaching staff members. There should be fair allotment of teachers at the vacant place, and they should test the teachers before hiring.
