Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and strong placement opportunities.
Placements: I am part of the B.Tech in computer science and engineering with a specialization in cyber security, passing out batch 2027. In our course, around 85% of students got placed through campus placements. The highest package offered in the entire college is 50 LPA, while for our course it is around 18 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average package stood at 6.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college provides strong infrastructure and facilities for our course, including smart classrooms, high-speed campus Wi-Fi, and well-equipped computer labs with the latest cybersecurity tools. The central library is spacious, digital-friendly, and stocked with relevant books and journals. Hostel rooms are clean and secure, with good water supply and Wi-Fi. The mess offers decent food with veg options, and the canteen serves a variety of snacks.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are highly qualified, approachable, and supportive. They focus on both theoretical and practical learning, ensuring that students understand real-world applications. The curriculum is industry-relevant and regularly updated, especially in specialized courses like Cyber Security. Tools, labs, and project work are integrated into the programme to make students job-ready. Semester exams are moderate difficult, testing both concepts and practical knowledge. With proper attendance and preparation, they are manageable. The overall pass percentage is above 90%, reflecting the effective teaching and support system. Overall, the college provides a solid academic foundation and industry exposure.

Is VNIT better than Ramdeobaba University?
Placements: My course is Data science, near about 60-65% of the students get placed in this course. The average package offered to a candidate from my batch is around 6 LPA. The highest package is around 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, and Infosys come here for recruitment purposes. Top 15-20% of the students get internships in this course. Top roles include data analyst, data scientist, business analyst, and so on.
Infrastructure: The facilities for this course here are great. Students get well-furnished classrooms. AC rooms along with new and upgraded computer systems. Labs are very good here with facilities like smart board and so on. Library is good here students get almost all the books required. Hostel price is a little high as per the facilities. The rooms are also very short and not clean properly. But the food in canteen and mess is very hygienic and affordable and also tastes good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and very helpful as well. Teaching quality is good, teachers start any topic from scratch so that everyone can understand it pretty well. The course curriculum is relevant but some subjects in this course are not relevant. But it makes the student's industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate here but you could easily pass them by studying a week before exams. Pass percentage is 80-85%.
Other: I have chosen this course as it has various opportunities and roles to get a job. All the things in my course are great but some subjects need more practical exposure, so the labs should conducted more. Lots of events occur here in a whole year, but the major one is Pratishrutu which is the annual festival that occurs here, it is 1 week and it is very refreshing. Scholarships are given to students who have taken the admission through CAP round.

RCOEM review: Campus, placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: In CSE, more than 90% of students are placed. The highest package was 48 LPA. The average package was 10 LPA. The lowest package was around 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Fivetran, JP Morgan, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, etc. Roles are web developer, software developer, and system engineer in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good but average. Wi-Fi bandwidth is good and connectivity is impressive. Labs are well-monitored with a good Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are posh and well-cleaned. Libraries are good with a variety of books. There are three grounds for volleyball, basketball, and football. The canteen has some delicious food. The food in the mess is average. You can't expect non-veg in RCOEM.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good at teaching. They are very well-qualified and have vast knowledge. The teaching quality is very poor. This course curriculum is not relevant because of old topics and AI has flourished very well this time but the college is stuck with its old methodologies. So it doesn't make students industry-ready. Semetser exams are very easy to pass with one night of study.
Other: I chose this course because I was getting CSE on this percentile in CET. The best thing about the course is CSE. There are multiple events happening in the college.

Review of Shri Ramdeobaba University.
Placements: I am doing data science course here, and almost 70%-80% of the students in this course get placed every year. The highest package offered in this course is around 19 LPA, with an average package of 5 LPA-6 LPA, with a minimum of 3.5 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and so on come here for recruitment purposes. Top 15%-20% of the students get internships here. Roles like data analyst, data scientist, and business analyst are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of classrooms and labs is quite well-maintained here, you get all the facilities like air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, proper computer systems, and a good library with all the books and facilities like tables and chairs available. The hostel facilities according to the cost are very bad here, rooms are very dirty and small, whereas the food quality at the mess and canteen concerning price is very good and it's very hygienic as well.
Faculty: Teachers here are very educated and helpful, although some teachers are rude and strict but other than them all are good. Most of the subjects are relevant although some subjects are irrelevant but overall it makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate here not that difficult could easily pass them by studying 2 days before exams. Almost 90% of the students get pass in the exams.
Other: In this college, this course has a great placement record and that is the reason why I have chosen this course. The best thing about this course is there are many roles and opportunities where students can work, more practical exposure through labs should be made in this course. Lots of events occur throughout a year but the annual fest known as Pratishruti is the main one, it is 1 week with almost every event and everything happens here. Scholarships are given if the admission is taken through the cap round.

Better Colleges Are There in Nagpur, Go for It!
Placements: Ramdeobaba University, in terms of statistics, is quite declining, but if you do hard work, you can do better in any college. I suggest you try other colleges, but then also, Ramdeobaba would be better, as big companies come here, like Fivetran, which offers 50 LPA, and many more.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good, especially the new DT tower, which is quite good, having 10 floors and good infrastructure inside the classroom. Hostel, I don't have much idea about, but they are also quite good, as told by my friends who are hostelites. Mess is quite good too.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified; some are, and some are not, as there are some new faculty members. The old faculty's teaching style is quite good, but the new ones are quite responsible and can't finish their syllabus on time. Yes, but one thing to say is that it is a college made for the industry.
Other: Many events like Pratishruti, etc.

The cutoff for the MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Ramdeobaba University is not given separately, but it comes under the general MBA program.
