RPGMCH: The way of our new beginning.

Placements: There is nothing called placement after MBBS, but as a doctor, everyone can run their own chamber or apply for a house staffship, which goes through an interview process and recruitment is done according. Average salary is 12 LPA. 100 out of 100 students will get an internship in our own hospital under a government scheme.

Infrastructure: Lecture Theatre, Practical Labs, Dissection Hall, Library, Hospital Visit—everything is available that is needed. Canteen food is average—not good as home but eatable. Our hostel is well maintained and hygienic and also has a small playing area. Medical facilities are also available in the hostel, as beside it BPHC is located.

Faculty: All of our teachers are well-known doctors, and all of them have their own teaching methods. Some of them are really mind-blowing and fabulous with their unique techniques. This course curriculum is always relevant as it produces doctors who are the backbone of a healthy society. Semester exams are some way difficult, but not too much. Students have to score 50% to pass the semesters.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in knowing about diseases and their treatment. The best thing about our course is that it made us ready to serve society and avail us of the power of healing. Our course syllabus is too lengthy according to its duration. It should be resolved. Asclepius is our college festival. Our college is well known among other medical colleges in West Bengal for its sports. Campus has good infrastructure, and it's also under progress and day by day progressing.

Really great faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: 100 students are admitted to MBBS in my college. Top role offered by my college is a doctor. After completing the degree everyone gets a job. Everyone gets a government job. This year our 1st intern batch is going to pass out from our college. They will become housestaff after they pass out.

Infrastructure: Library is great too. Hostel is the most fun part. Every day we play volleyball, cricket, badminton, table tennis, carrom, etc. Food of the hostel is great too. Seniors are also very helpful. They always help us with every problem.

Faculty: Every teacher from every department is very helpful and very knowledgeable. Semester exams are neither too hard nor too easy. It's moderate actually. The pass percentage is 50% and on getting 70% in the exam you get a chance to sit for the CA (gold medal) exam. Awesome faculty members in every department.

Other: From my childhood I wanted to serve people around me, so I chose this course. Fests also take place every year.

Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. Result awaited candidates can also apply,he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the Undergraduate Medical Courses if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling.
