Review of Ramthakur College.

Placements: The salary package offered is 7 LPA. Most recruiters for this course are institutes. About 80% to 85% of students in this course get internships at educational institutes. School teachers and professors are among the most common roles offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Our college provides smart classrooms and separate laboratories, as well as an additional reading room for students. The capacity of the classroom is around 60 to 70 students. There are many facilities for NCC and NSS students at this college. Medical facilities are great. There is a ground for playing sports. The college does not have a hostel. There is a canteen, and good quality food is available.

Faculty: All teachers are knowledgeable. Semester exams are not that difficult. The pass percentage is always high, and that is about 60% to 70%. The questions asked in the exams are not very difficult, and most of the students pass the exams. They prepare us very well for our exams. They provide us with extra classes. They cover all the syllabus before the exam, and our exam facility is good. Our teachers are very kind and helpful. They always help us when we need them. They also provide study materials for preparation.

Other: I chose my favourite subject, economics, as my honours. A career in economics is extremely rewarding in today's business scenario. In economics, you learn about supply and demand, perfect and imperfect competition, taxation, international trade, interest rates, unemployment, many topics to understand individual markets, the aggregate economy, and government policies. The course is designed to provide students with taxation and accounting education along with developing their education skills. A graduate or postgraduate in economics can find entry-level jobs in banking, finance, insurance, stock markets, sales, and marketing and many other fields. These are the best things about our course. In this college, many extracurricular activities and sports have been organised, like state-level seminars, teachers' day celebration, wall painting, inter-college volleyball championship, observance of International Human Rights Day celebration, fresher's party, etc. There are also opportunities to get scholarships. If you have scored 75% to 80% in your HS examination, you can apply for scholarships like Ishan Uday Scholarship. You will get Rs. 50000 to 1 lakh. Cultural activities are also conducted.
