Supportive faculty, decent placements and a peaceful campus environment.

Placements: Placements at Rangapara College, Sonitpur have been gradually improving over the years. In the recent placement drive, about 36 students are placed, with nearly 9 companies visiting the campus. The highest package offered is around 5.5 LPA, while the average package stood close to 3.1 LPA, and the median package is 2.6 LPA. The top recruiters included private coaching institutes, Kendriya Vidyalaya, and NGOs working in different sectors. Apart from final placements, students also get internship opportunities and nearly 65 percent of students secure internships every year in private companies and organizations.

Infrastructure: Rangapara College provides good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, a library, and basic labs for students. Hostel facilities are average, with decent rooms, mess food is satisfactory, and the canteen offers affordable meals. Medical support is available on campus and students actively participate in sports, games and cultural activities.

Other: I chose this course because it matched my interest and future career goals. However, I wish there were more industry linkage, advanced labs, and practical exposure. The college organizes cultural events, seminars and sports, which keep the campus lively. The crowd is friendly and diverse with students coming from nearby towns and villages. The campus surroundings are peaceful and well connected by road and rail. Scholarships and extracurricular activities are available which help students financially and also in overall personality development.
