I will not recommend students opt for SCD college as I feel it is one of the worst decisions.
Placements: I am currently in 2nd year so my batch has not yet been placed. However, I have heard or saw the placements in this college are below average. The highest package ranges from 5 or 6 LPA. Small companies come and a few students get recruited. Management-related roles are offered for the BBA course.
Infrastructure: One of the worst infrastructure has been provided. Classrooms remain dirty and no facilities are there. It feels like an abandoned place. The library for our department is good. There are no washroom facilities in the department and we have to go far away where washrooms are very ugly and not hygienic. Canteen food is fine but there are few options. No facilities for sports have been given.
Faculty: Teachers frequently skip classes and if they come, they try to waste time rather than teaching. They come late and go early. Exams are easy but we have to self-study as teachers barely teach, so students also do not come to college.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to learn various things about business and how to run the business. I hope that our course becomes more practical rather than just theory because it would be very helpful to understand and experience things. Events barely happen and we get to know about any event on such day rather than before.

Overall experience by a first-year student.
Placements: Students who score above 80% in academics are given preference to join the course first and if any seats are left then students with below 80% are selected. Basically, I do not have proper knowledge about the placements but it is said that the companies that hire students are good and provides good salary packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure from the exterior is quite good. But the classrooms from inside are very old style and need to be upgraded. They are mostly not cleaned. The library is also not good, and it has old books which are of no use. The food quality and the hostel facilities are average.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and have good knowledge about their subjects. Teachers are approachable to students in times of need. The course curriculum somewhat prepares students for industry, but it is mainly dependent on what skills we have acquired. The exam level is average and the pass percentage is 35%.
Other: This course is related to handling business effectively and efficiently, and I am also interested in this type of activity. So I decided to choose this course. The college has a nice connectivity to most of the amenities like malls, theatres, restaurants, and hotels. The college also conducts events on a regular basis.

My college is the best and I am fully satisfied with a good environment and infrastructure.
Placements: I'm studying the course of bachelor of business administration BBA at SCD Government College. My batch is the evening batch which timing is 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. In my course, there are 40 students. This is a professional course of BBA (banking financial services). Its fee is higher than the general BBA course. This course fee is Rs. 33,000 per year. This course helps to provide bank jobs including all private and government banks and also internships in many big MNCs. The course is valuable as I study in a government college. It is under Punjab University of Chandigarh.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is also fully furnished. Computer labs and a library are there. Wi-Fi and good infrastructure are provided. The quality of the hostel in my college is also very excellent. My friends stay in the hostel. They tell us about their experience. The food is also good.
Faculty: In my college, all teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They help us in any doubt and connect educational content with real-world experience. In each semester, there are two types of exams. The first is MST which is 30 marks. It is conducted by the college. They are medium to easy. The second is a final exam which is conducted by the university.
Other: I chose this course because I'm willing to study the BBA. My elder sister is also doing that course and her placement is in Gurgaon. If talk about events and fests, our college conducted many types of events and fests. Recently, they celebrated a Lohri function and a Springs Fest which I enjoyed a lot.

I just want to say, the college is very good. No ragging is done be anyone.
Placements: Placements provided in this college are very good. A lot of students were placed in good companies in our college; mainly 70 to 80 percent of students got placements in good companies. Even in our college, the students got a chance for an industrial visit after every week, which is very good for the students to learn the things practically.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good.
The college is very big. Grounds are properly maintained. I would love to suggest this college to other students also.
Hostels are very neat and clean. Even in hostel mess, the food is very good and clean.
The labs and classrooms are fully air conditioned.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful.
Yes, the course makes the students industry-ready.
Semester exams are not much difficult if the students do their work properly. Exams are properly done in the college. Even the faculty members are very friendly.
Other: Events and fests in the college are always organized.

Absolutely perfect to enjoy student life and also very helpful teachers

Placements: No students are placed in this college as this college doesn't provide placements for my course. If we talk about internships, they have provided us 3 years of internships in various industries. Around 80% of students got internships for 3 years.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very old in hostel as well as in our classes. But medical room is there. Food in canteen is also of very good quality. It is at very reasonable price also. They have very big ground with various sports games and have a separate auditorium for special occasions.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in every part of the study. Additionally, they also provide first-hand experience which makes us job ready in future. The exam's difficulty level is normal and you must score 33% to pass. But the education is very good.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is a professional degree and I can easily find jobs. I can easily get a package of 7-8 LPA, and the student life at SCD College is best. They also provide scholarships if we study hard and score good marks.
