Candidates are evaluated based on GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT, etc. scores, past academic performance, essays, work experience and performance in the personal interview and group discussions for PGDM admission. The selection process evaluates each applicant on:

• Academic abilities and skills
• Standardized test scores
• Academic and other achievements (rank holders)

Aspirants must pass bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for backward class categories or person with disability belonging to Maharashtra only) to apply for the PGDM course. Candidates appearing for the final year exam can also apply. Freshers and candidates with less than 24 months of work experience can also register for the course. The seat intake for PGDM course is 120.

To enroll in a PGDM course at Sasmira's Business School, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. The institute offers full-time PGDM courses lasting two years. Students are selected based on entrance exam. IStudents are selected based on entrance exam score, i.e., CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAH–CET. A special preference will be given to college/university rank holders in terms of the extra weight gained as part of the selection process. The onus of proof of rank is vested in the applicant. To get admitted to SBS, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute.

The institute offers PGDM, Post Graduate Certification Program in Management and Post Graduate Program in Management courses at the PG level.Candidates should complete graduation in any stream from a recognised institution. Fresher's as well as experienced candidates are eligible to apply for the PDGM programme. The student should graduate in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate from any University (45% in case of candidates of backwards class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
