Better to spend your college life.
Placements: The packages are pretty much around 3 LPA to 15 LPA. Recruiting companies are Big Basket, Accenture, Virtusa, Tata Groups, HDFC, Bank of Baroda, Hawkins, and many more. They do have various departments like AI, machine language, and many more.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-designed with full AC and smart classrooms. No need to worry about the network because they provide with Wi-Fi facility for each floor. Hostel is well-maintained and spacious. There are multiple rooms with 2 to 8 sharing rooms. We can choose the type of rooms we want. Water facilities are also good. Gym is there for both girls and boys.
Faculty: They don't follow the usual exam or curriculum. They follow a system called free learning, where the students can choose their own subject, faculty member, and time-table. They provide various extra-curricular activities to the students and make them engage in various activities. College is great at teaching and guiding. They provide us with different types of teaching skills to us. They don't even make us feel we are students, they used to address us as learners. They don't follow the same pattern of teaching style, they are totally different.
Other: I am in 2024-2025 batch of MBA students, and the campus life is good and fabulous. I like how big the college and its fests. Fests are celebrated as a grand festival over there. Overall, it is a 9/10 campus life.

Review of Saveetha Engineering College, Chennai.
Placements: Placements are not good. Most startups and edtech companies visit our college. The role offered is a business development executive. They call students to sign up for the course. The average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA - 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The library is extraordinary. It has 2 floors. It is designed like a boast named Sail Library. There are Wi-Fi facilities. Our classrooms are air-conditioned. Our canteen is well-maintained. Students can get good food from the specific canteen. The sports ground is well-maintained.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very friendly. They provide amazing mentorship. They always care about the wellness of students by helping them to develop their careers. We have flexible learning where we can choose the faculty, slots timings, and everything so that we can also do other courses in our free time.

It is a college with good infrastructure but without an industry-ready curriculum.
Placements: About 50% to 60% were placed. The average salary package stands at around 3 LPA and the maximum is around 5 LPA. Most recruiting companies are banks, financial institutions, and startups. Students should search for internships on their own, which is not a good sign.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The hostel food will be average, and overall, the environment will be okay. The food they provide in the canteen would be okay, and it would be tasty. There are more shops It is nearly 4 to 5 shops and cafeterias, and payment can be done with your ID card, which is a good technology.
Faculty: The curriculum is out of date and requires updating to the current industry level. A semester exam will be conducted, which is okay. The pass level is good. The semester is conducted every six months. The teachers would be helpful sometimes and be rude most of the time. With the curriculum they are providing, the students would not be ready to be in the market.

I am satisfied with the quality of this college.
Placements: Placements were average. But they should concentrate on other verticals apart from marketing. Students got lots of drive for marketing and finance compared to HR, operations, and systems. The top reputed organisations came for campus drive, and many of my fellows got placed in marketing.
Infrastructure: It is one of the best college when it comes to infrastructure in Chennai. High-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, auditorium, and library were well maintained at a high-end level. They could concentrate more on laboratories by providing better OS and other software.
Faculty: Faculty members and their quality were exceptional when it comes to teaching and also other activities. They had the technique to keep students engaged in all the terms. They motivated and molded students to improve their competency skills in this cut-throat competitive world.
