Presidency University looks good on the surface, but the reality is disappointing.
Placements: The course is B.A. Journalism and Mass Communication 2023–2026 with a 9 CGPA. The annual package is 1 LPA. The admission fee is Rs. 25,000 and the registration fee is Rs. 500. Only one student is offered a job at Zee Kannada, the rest find their own jobs or get help from teachers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but sometimes there are Wi-Fi issues, everything else is fine. The hostel is very expensive, and the fee increase every year. The food is not good, and you can't take food to your room even if you are sick. Wardens are rude towards students. Transport and medical facilities are also not good.
Faculty: They are very critical and approachable. They focus on specific points in teaching methods and mention how things can be improved. The mentor is also good. Some teachers are rude depending on their mood and give last-minute assignments.
Other: Events and fests are good, and the campus surroundings are also good.
