Good college with strong academics, campus life, and decent placements.

Placements: 28.7% of students get placed. The highest package is 17 LPA in 2025–26, and the average package is 5–6 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, BCG, Brain Capability Network, Future First, Grant Thornton, KPMG, PwC, EY, D. E. Shaw, Accenture, Zomato, WTW, District by Zomato, Gallagher & Mohan, Ditto, Mock, DeltaX, etc. In 2025–26, 445+ internships are secured through the college's internship initiatives. Top roles offered in my course include Business Analyst, Audit Associate, Financial Analyst, Operations Associate, GTM Associate, Growth Specialist, Sales/Business Development, Marketing, Risk/Consulting, and HR roles.

Infrastructure: SBSC has good infrastructure. Classrooms are somewhat good. Wi-Fi, computer labs, and a well equipped library are available. The campus also has good sports facilities for games. These include cricket, football, basketball, & badminton. The college does not have an on campus hostel. Students usually stay in nearby PGs or private hostels. The canteen provides affordable food. Basic medical and first-aid facilities are also available on campus. Facilities are good and sufficient for students.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They have good knowledge. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too difficult. The pass percentage is not mentioned. Those who meet the DU eligibility criteria pass the exams.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in commerce. The best thing about the course is that it is one of the most reputed courses in the college and provides many opportunities. The college is good and good value for money, but it should improve the drainage system and classrooms. There are minimal fests throughout DU and at SBSC.

All you need to know about SBSC before coming.

Placements: Almost 80 percent of students who sit for placements get placed either in some or the other. Recruiting companies are Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, and Brain Preferred Square. The highest package is 22 LPA. The median package is 7 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Good for placements, good companies. Amongst the student pool those with strong communication skills, talent, soft skills, etc. Get placed. Good atmosphere. Competitive edge, atmosphere, and a good supportive placement committee.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi labs and a library for morning and evening. No hostel or accommodation. Food is top-notch in the canteen. We have good AC classrooms, smartboards, and classes with good ventilation. We have a sports room, games room, and all medical facilities in medical room.

Faculty: Teachers are PDF-qualified and highly qualified. The course curriculum is relevant. It creates good knowledge. Semester exams of DU have a moderate pass percentage, which is high and good. Teachers are so helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is best and up to date. They are good, friendly, and helpful.

Other: B.Com (Hons) is best here, 2nd largest in DU. Best in DU, industry-ready, and better placements in commerce.

Satisfied with the college because of faculty and placement.

Placements: The percentage of placements in my college is okay. Students with skills get placement offers from the college. The highest package offered by my college is around 23 LPA, with an average package of 5–6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG India, PwC India, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities are above average compared to other Delhi universities, with classrooms, labs, and a library. However, there are no hostel facilities in the college. It also offers a girls' common room, medical room, sports activity rooms, and computer labs.

Faculty: In my course, exams are not very difficult and can be easily passed, but teachers are very strict in the exam hall. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The pass percentage is also good, and students can easily pass. The education provided by teachers is also good.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in this field. The best thing about my course is that it provides knowledge about commerce and provides a deep understanding of the subject.

Overall college is good in academics and infrastructure.

Placements: For the commerce department, placements are good, and for other courses, there are no placements. For the commerce department, many companies come for placements every year, where lots of students are getting placed and our college also offers many more opportunities.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and mainly new things are under construction. There is no hostel in our college, which is not good for students coming from far and from different states of India, so they stay in PG or a flat. In sports, we have inter-department and inter-college tournaments.

Faculty: Faculty is good. Daily faculty are available on time for classes and exams are always conducted as per the schedule they released before the year starts without any delay. We have limited classes every day, some classes we have online for additional subjects.

Other: Events happen in college from time to time and societies are also there for fun and to learn many more and develop skills. There is a ground in college for students to play.

Best infrastructure, very supportive teachers, and the best library in South Campus.

Placements: The placement scenario in B.A. History Hons at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is not good. Most students prepare for government exams. Some students pursue higher studies like M.A., research, and Ph.D. from top universities such as JNU and DU because of their passion for the subject.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is improving compared to previous years. Block C is completed and provides modern facilities. There are digital boards and air-conditioned classrooms. A new sports complex is under development for indoor games. There is also a two-floor, fully air-conditioned reading hall with comfortable chairs.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are very kind and supportive towards their students. Many of them are from top universities and have expertise in their respective academic fields, along with Ph.D. degrees from reputed universities in India. History Department teachers regularly publish articles in various newspapers.

Best South Campus DU college.

Placements: Over 50 percent of students got placed with a CGPA. The attendance, and extracurriculars should be on point in their CV. Deloitte offers mass hiring in Audit (45 plus students) on average. The rest of the big names are Big4s and emerging startups which offer different roles but not mass hires.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure has been improved in the last 2 years. AC libraries with timings 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM are available. The hostel facility is not available but affordable rental PGs are available within walking distance (Sheikh Sarai). Canteen is very average but affordable.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly 9/10 in terms of quality and qualifications. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready mostly for B.Com (Hons) and Economics Honours. Students are preferred during placements. Semester exams are up to the mark and internals are a priority.

Other: The fest culture inside college is negligible and the campus is academically driven with 67 percent attendance a major necessity in order to appear for the semester exams.
