Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi Scholarships and Funding
The college has a ‘Students Aid Fund & Fee Concession Committee’ to facilitate students who need financial aid to continue their studies. The committee meets regularly to discuss such cases and evaluates grant of concession. The concession can range anywhere between 10 percent to 100 percent fee relaxation, depending upon financial need and circumstances of the concerned student. The committee decides some basic parameters to ensure that the fee concession or relaxation should be given to the students who actually need it. The percentage of fee concession depends upon parameters, such as economic status of the student's family, academic performance, regular attendance, and overall discipline and behaviour in the college

Placements: The percentage of placements in my college is okay. Students with skills get placement offers from the college. The highest package offered by my college is around 23 LPA, with an average package of 5–6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG India, PwC India, etc.
Placements: For the commerce department, placements are good, and for other courses, there are no placements. For the commerce department, many companies come for placements every year, where lots of students are getting placed and our college also offers many more opportunities.
Placements: The placement scenario in B.A. History Hons at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is not good. Most students prepare for government exams. Some students pursue higher studies like M.A., research, and Ph.D. from top universities such as JNU and DU because of their passion for the subject.
Placements: Over 50 percent of students got placed with a CGPA. The attendance, and extracurriculars should be on point in their CV. Deloitte offers mass hiring in Audit (45 plus students) on average. The rest of the big names are Big4s and emerging startups which offer different roles but not mass hires.
Placements: Somewhere around 30 percent of the batch gets placed among those who apply for placements initially. The average package is around 3.6 LPA. The highest package is 16 LPA. Most of the roles offered are in sales. The top recruiter is Deloitte, which hires around 75+ students from our batch for audit profiles with a package of 7 LPA. Almost 60% of the batch gets internships from the college and other sources. The top roles include Analyst, Audit, Accounts, and Sales.
Placements: Roughly 30% to 40% of B.Sc. Maths Honors students get placed. The highest package of my course is around 10–12 LPA, and the lowest is around 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte and KPMG. 50% to 60% of students intern at companies like Deloitte and DeltaX. The top roles offered in my college are Data Analyst, Software Engineer, and Finance Analyst.
