I am not satisfied with its placements.
Placements: Placements percentage was very low in this college. Teachers also did not take any effort to place the student. Many students opt for higher degrees from other colleges. I would not recommend students to take admission in it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good in this college. The area was large, and provides separate blocks according to their streams like BCA, CSE, EC, etc. The hostel facility was good, and there were 4 hostels for boys i.e Satluj, Ganga, Yamuna, and Beas.
Faculty: Some faculty members were cooperative with the student, but some do not cooperative with them. Exam pattern was 6-month interval which contains 1 main exam which was 60 marks, and other 2 mid-exam was there i.e internal and external.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.Sc. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board. |
| BCA | Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognised Board / University / Council. OR Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination and have also passed three year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal are also eligible. |
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma in relevant stream from a recognised Institute. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidates must have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum three year duration in any discipline from the University recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In case seats haven't been filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered on the basis of Inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination. |
| B.Arch | Candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University can also apply. Candidates appearing for 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023. |
| MCA | Candidates must have passed BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. OR Candidates must have passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduated Level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University) Candidate must have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination. |
