Review of Shambhunath Group of Institution.
Placements: Around 65–70% of students from my computer science course got placed, mostly in service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. The highest package was 10 LPA (off-campus), the average was around 3.5 LPA, and the lowest was around 2.4 LPA. About 30–40% got internships through portals like Internshala or LinkedIn, mainly in startups or training companies. Roles offered included software developer, QA, and system engineer. College support was average, so self-learning and off-campus efforts mattered the most. Overall, it's a decent college for average placements, but students need to work hard beyond the curriculum to get good opportunities.
Infrastructure: The Computer Science department has decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, projectors, and computer labs equipped with the necessary software. The library is good, with sufficient reference books and online access. Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are okay for two people, but maintenance can be better. The mess food is manageable, with basic North Indian meals, but the taste and variety could improve. The canteen offers better options at reasonable prices. Medical facilities are available with a campus doctor, and nearby hospitals are accessible. Sports facilities include a playground, volleyball and badminton courts, and a gym, though not all equipment is well-maintained.
Faculty: Most teachers in the Computer Science department are helpful and have the required qualifications, but teaching quality varies. A few are good at explaining concepts, while others rely too much on slides or outdated material. The curriculum covers basic subjects well, but lacks practical, industry-oriented content like the latest frameworks or real-world project work. Semester exams are not very tough. If you attend classes and study before exams, it's manageable. The pass percentage is quite high, around 85–90%. However, to be truly industry-ready, students need to learn additional skills and do internships or projects outside the syllabus.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with my interests and offers good career opportunities. The best things about the course are the practical approach, supportive faculty, and decent lab facilities. However, the curriculum could be more industry-oriented with updated tools and technologies. The college organizes some events and fests, but they are on a smaller scale. The campus crowd is friendly, though not very diverse. Connectivity to the campus is average, and the surroundings are peaceful. Scholarships are limited, and extracurricular activities need more encouragement. Overall, it's a decent college experience with room for improvement in various areas.

I had a decent college experience with room for growth.
Placements: In our course, around 60-70% of students get placed. The highest package ranges from 10-12 LPA (off-campus), while on-campus, the package ranges from 6-7 LPA. The average package ranges from 4.5-5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra. Around 40-50% of students got internships, mostly through off-campus platforms like LinkedIn and Internshala, and in companies like TCS and startups, with some international remote roles. Common job roles offered are software developer, web developer, QA, support engineer, and occasionally data analyst. The college provides basic support, but most success depends on self-effort and skill-building.
Infrastructure: Our department has decent facilities. Wi-Fi is available but not always reliable. Labs are well-equipped for basic practicals, and classrooms have projectors and fans, though not all are air-conditioned. The library has good resources and a peaceful reading space. Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are okay, but maintenance is slow. Mess food is manageable, not great, but edible. The canteen has better taste and variety. Medical facilities are limited. It has just a first-aid room and a part-time doctor. Sports facilities include a ground for cricket, football, and a few indoor games, but the equipment is limited and not always maintained.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and well-qualified, especially in core subjects. Some teachers are really good at explaining concepts, while a few just focus on theory. The teaching quality is average. Overall, we will need to study on our own. The course curriculum is okay, but not fully industry-ready. We have to learn extra skills like coding, DSA, or tools outside the syllabus. Semester exams are not too tough if we study regularly, and mostly, it is theory-based. The pass percentage is 85-90%, but getting good marks requires effort. Overall, the system works fine if we stay consistent and self-motivated.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in technology and coding, and it offers good career options. The best part is learning about real-world problem-solving and software development. But I wish the course included more practical and updated content, like the latest tech stacks and industry tools. Our college events and fests are fun, though not very big. The campus crowd is friendly and mixed from different states. Connectivity is decent with nearby transport and markets. Surroundings are peaceful. Scholarships are available based on merit. There are also extracurricular activities like tech clubs, sports, and cultural events, but participation depends on our own interests.

I'm not satisfied with of teaching faculty and placements.
Placements: The percentage of placements last year was not very good, at about 20%. The lowest package offered was 2 LPA, while the highest package was 7 LPA. No recruiting companies visited my college for internships. Companies like Wipro and Pyramid were among those that typically recruit.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and the library is well-stocked with many books available for borrowing. The labs are also excellent. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the campus, and the canteen offers a variety of food and drinks. All the teachers are supportive and assist students in searching for placements and internships.
Faculty: The semester exams are not too difficult, but the grading can be quite poor. However, the teachers are helpful and willing to assist every student. While the teaching quality is average—not particularly bad but not outstanding either—the course curriculum does not align well with industry standards.

About Shambhunath Group of Institution.
Placements: Around 20% of students get placed in my college, and around 10% of students get placed in my branch. The highest package offered in my college is 7 LPA, and the minimum package is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra and Infosys. Around 10 students get internships at IIIT Mandi.
Infrastructure: College is not very big as per the college fees. But it provides overall good facilities, including a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus. Library and classrooms are nearby and clean, and the campus is good. Hostel is not very good for the price it charges for good things. But the mess food is disgusting.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They are well-educated and knowledgeable. The lab teachers are not very good but are okay. The semester exams are difficult for students because courses are not completed on time, but teachers help students a lot, and they get good marks.
Other: I chose this course because I have great interest in computers since I was a child. College can improve its campus and area.

Budget friendly just okay for the money you pay. You will get decent college life.
Placements: 5% of students got placed from college placements in companies like Pie Infocomm, Tech Mahindra, and Infotech. The highest package is 3 LPA - 5 LPA. Top roles included senior software engineer, back-end developer, etc. The average package is 2.8 LPA. Don't expect any internship from your college, you have to grind very hard here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is decent but speed upto 10 Mbps. The quality of food is just okay like every other mess. There are no frequent sports. Medical facilities are okay. Library is okay, you will find standard books on the subjects here. The hostel has electricity and water 24X7.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful but very less. Currently, some new faculty members have been recruited but they don't have much experience. But they are very fresher in teaching and lack experience. The semester exams are easy to crack if you follow the right strategy and attend classes regularly, you can easily clear them.
Other: I chose this course because I want exposure to teaching corporate life and solid scientific skills. The course should focus more on practical aspects rather than theory courses. The fest named Eureka happens and is the most exciting time of college life. There is a cultural club called Vriddhi which organises cultural events now and then. Some pics I am uploading.

Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022.
