Our college has good teaching staff, infrastructural facilities, and co operative environment.

Placements: Around 20% of the students got placed in our course with a salary package varying from 3 LPA to 4.5 LPA. Companies like Honda, Mahindra, and Tata come for recruitment. Most students got internships in Tata and Mahindra. Junior engineer and quality control roles are offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Our college is well versed with all types of infrastructural facilities such as parking, canteen, labs, library, sports ground, Wi-Fi, and digital classrooms. There are no hostels and medical facilities available for girls. The canteen facility is very good. Fresh and delicious food is served the whole day. Sports and games are also given attention.

Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and well experienced. They are very helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is perfect, and it is useful in practical work in industries as well. The semester exams are quite difficult, and the passing marks are 35 out of 100.

Other: I chose this course because of less competition. I would suggest improving more practical training and understanding. Events and festivals are celebrated beautifully.

I am absolutely satisfied due to teachers, good placements and good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The strength of our batch of production engineering branch is 120 students. The highest salary offered is Rs. 1,50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Companies which visited here for recruiting students from our course are Reliance Pvt Ltd, Tata Motors, etc. The top roles offered are a junior engineer and managing engineer.

Infrastructure: Different buildings are available for all the branches with all classrooms with light facilities and fans. The Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. The library of our college has over 10,000 technical books. The hostel mess and also canteen serves high-quality food.

Faculty: Teachers here are very much qualified with M. Tech degree and have deep knowledge about the technical subjects. Their teaching quality is very prominent. The course outcome is very good in our college of all the subjects with providing development for the technical skills relevant in industries.

Other: I have chosen this course because it had a vast scope in the engineering field and industries, and also I have a keen interest in this field. The technical level of this course can be yet levelled-up. Technical fests are regularly held in our college with a great opportunity to show our skills.

Good placements in 2008 and 2009.

Placements: Reliance company came for placements for our seniors. Reliance also came for our batch. I was in the hope that I will be selected, but it did not happen. It also has a tie-up with Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra and mahindra at that time. I don't have any idea about the present situation.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not good but very good. A separate computer was provided. Overall, the building structure is superb. We have different sections of departments like mechanical, electrical, civil, computer, EC etc. Different sections are allocated to a particular departmental building.

Faculty: The faculty members were not good but very excellent. A separate computer is provided. Overall, the building structure is superb. We have different sections of departments like mechanical, EC, computer, civil and electrical. Different faculty members are allocated to particular departments. Every faculty members have different knowledge about their particular subjects. I got the best college ever.

Other: Events are organised every year. Scholarships and extra activities are also done.

Because of our college management, placements are not good. Infrastructure is very good.

Placements: Our senior batch's placement was bad. Only 2% students (3) were selected in placement. The students' salary is 4.5 lacs/year. Only Reliance visited our campus. Thay offered the role of an engineer. The students are not provided any internship by our college but the students find a company for training and internship by themselves. 50% student hence go for training or internship.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, labs are not good. Classrooms are good, the library is very good, medical facilities are good, sports and game are good. The quality of labs and classrooms is normal. The quality of food available in the canteen is very good. The hostel rooms are very bad and the hostel facilities are very bad. Overall, infrastructure is very good.

Faculty: Our faculty is very good and helpful. All members are qualified and very knowledgeable. They used good teaching methods. They were speaking English and Gujrati. Our branch has 120×4=480 students and faculty members are only 15. We get industry exposure.

Other: Shantilal Shah Engineering College has located almost 15 km away from the Bhavnagar city. All the students who have completed their graduations are in a good position today in the reputed companies. SSEC has a library, computer lab, boarding for the student, mess food in the hostel, canteen, well-equipped labs for the practical work, a workshop for the first year students with Lathe machine, drill machine, UTS machine, and much more facilities. The faculty is average as they employed recent degree holders as the visiting faculty. Also, the faculty is not concerned about the completion of the syllabus. The transportation facility is also not up to the mark. There is no placement facility as such as hardly one or two companies come to each branch of studies. I would recommend this college for the low-cost education.
