Dissatisfied because of the infrastructure. It provided good placements in 2024.

Placements: In the chemical course, the highest salary package offered was 23 LPA in 2024. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. In the chemical course, you easily get a decent salary package. The highest salary package was given by Gulf Sky company. Many students from the chemical department got placed.

Infrastructure: Classrooms have air-conditioners and the library is decent. They are open at the end of 1st semester, but the food served is good. There is a ground to play sports but it is not properly maintained. It also does not provide sports equipment to play. The hostel is not available but you can easily rent a room near the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and very supportive of studies. The IT exams are moderate. If you study exams properly, then it will be easy for you without any backlogs. Semester exams are not that hard, and if you study properly, then you easily get good marks.

Other: I have chosen chemical course because I like Chemistry and its organics. They should make some improvements on the campus and should include some extracurricular activities.

Very nice college for students who do job and also studies at a time.

Placements: 1. About 20% students got placed in the course. 2. 15000 was the lowest salary and 25000 was the highest salary and average salary was 18000. 3. Gharda chemicals, Indo Amine, Nossel, etc. recruited the students. 4. Supervisor and senior officers roles were offered. 5. The highest package was Rs. 300000 and the lowest was Rs 180000 and average was Rs 216000 was offered to our course. 6. About 30% students got internship in Gharda chemicals pvt ltd.

Infrastructure: 1. The facilities includes free Wi-Fi, drinking water facility, department library, computer labs, experimental laboratory. The college has good infrastructure with big classrooms. The classroom also has projectors for better e learning. 2. The college has no hostel facility. The food quality of canteen was average and one can have different varieties of food available. The college has its own medical room, first aid kit. The college has its ground for carrying out sports and every they organize indoor as well as outdoor games.

Faculty: 1. The faculty members were knowledgeable and qualified and also helpful. The teaching quality was good and they use to look after on each and every student. 2. This course is relevant and students really gets industrial knowledge and are ready for their industrial work.

Other: 1. There is a huge scope in this course and the best things are one can easily be able to make his own career in this course. 2. Personality and soft skills development can be better or improved. 3. The college has its own event and also organizes different cultures and activities where students from different colleges participate. The college also has scholarship activities so that children can be motivated.

Teaching staff members are really helpful.

Placements: Placements here are not really great. Very few companies visit the college for placements. The highest placement rate is almost 25%. Most students are placed through off-campus only. Companies that visit here for our department are Deepak Fertilisers, Dye Chem, etc. The average salary package offered is 2-4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The campus is huge. Labs in the chemical department are well equipped. The library has almost all the books. Wi-Fi facility is only available for staff. Classrooms are good. There are no hostel facilities. Canteen and the food served here are good. Sports and games are really good here.

Faculty: Teaching staff members available here are really helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is really good. There are few teachers with a higher qualification, holding PhDs. The course offered is somewhat relevant for the chemical background. Most of the learning will only happen on the field.

I am dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: In this college, 0% of students got placed. During last year only one company visited to recruit and offered salary only Rs. 10,000-12,000 per month, which was the reason all rejected this company. Other than that no company was interested in visiting our campus, and also no one was interested in hiring us.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. Laboratories are in great condition, but there is no Wi-Fi facility in the college. There is the worst condition canteen in the college. Many street dogs roam in the college canteen. There is no hostel services available. There is a very small ground in the college. The college supports only cricket as compared to other sports.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and knowledgeable. They have excellent subject-related knowledge, and they treat each student according to their knowledge. Faculty here are more interested in descriptively describing everything, which is much helpful to the students.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure but the staff quality needs to be improved.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placement opportunities for chemical engineering branch students in their core field. They conduct placements in only marketing and executive posts. They should invite core branch engineering companies to visit the campus for placements. They should give training to students to prepare for off-campus and on-campus interviews.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. But, 40% of the space on the campus is not utilised. Labs and classrooms in the chemical engineering department are quite good. The library is just okay, and it needs more improvement. The canteen is the best part of the college as of now, and you will be utterly satisfied with the food. The cleanliness is the whole and soul of college.

Faculty: Staff members in the college are good. Senior staff members are well qualified, but the newly joined members need to be groomed properly, They need to improve their basics. Deputy head of the department does a great job in all fields like teaching, handling student issues and daily administration. The lab assistants can be better.

Placements went good in the year 2016.

Placements: The college provides the best on-campus placements where companies like Godrej, TCS, etc., hire the students, but one needs to achieve the first-class grades when the average of 4 years is calculated. You should visit this college once for more details. SSJCOE has its own placement cell.

Infrastructure: There are well-equipped practical labs, furnished classrooms, air-conditioned library, and a fitness gym is also there in the basement. Cricket and kabaddi are the sports that are mostly played here. And, other games are football, carrom, pool, badminton, and volleyball. Sports day is the best time to enjoy these games.

Faculty: The faculty are really best. The teachers are highly educated and are very helpful to students for clearing each and every doubt. In SSJCOE, the courses provided are chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, electronics and telecommunication engineering, computer engineering and production engineering.

Other: Odyssey is the fest of SSJCOE which is held in the month of February every year.

The review of Shivajirao S. Jondhale College of Engineering.

Placements: There are no core placements yet. They will arrange in some other colleges. Mainly company like marketing, BPO comes for campus interview but the effort of college to engage student for placement is good, and the placement for the other streams are also not quite good. The placement of mechanical and production department is good as Godrej and Siemens carry campus interview for them.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. The infrastructure of the college has a big ground for playing the sports. The college has a good environment. The only thing is that the canteen is not good. The computer labs are having a good amount of area and facilities.

Faculty: The faculty of the chemicals department is quite good and supportive, but some lecturers are there whose knowledge is quite average. They have very poor experience. The HOD of the department is quite strict. If there is any problem she calls to our parents directly.

Other: Events such as Chemaviskar, Oddesy, and annual function are organised in the college.

Very good and decent palcements.

Placements: The placement for our batch was okay and also decent for the seniors. Total 40% of the students got placement from the campus, and the average package was 3 LPA and the highest package offered was 5 LPA. The companies like Saint-Gobain, Deepak Fertilisers, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, etc. came to our campus. The role offered was a trainee. Total 20% of the students got an internship from the college.

Infrastructure: The lab and Wi-Fi facilities were really good and games were also conducted by the college. The quality of classroom was really good and proper. The quality of food was good, and there were no hostel facilities and no issue with the infrastructure as it was good and being maintained time-to-time.

Faculty: I had good experienced with the faculty. They are very knowledgeable and PhD holder. Interactive mode of teaching with effective manner opts as a teaching method. The student to faculty ratio was 25:1. Most of the students get industrial exposure from the college, and I found that the curriculum was useful to the students.
