Excellent infrastructure, supportive faculty, and well-equipped labs.

Placements: 70 percent students are placed with the highest package offered being 8 LPA, the lowest 3 LPA and an average package of 5 LPA. Top recruitments include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and Accenture. 60 percent students secured internships in reputed companies.

Infrastructure: Department offers excellent facilities including well equipped computer labs, spacious classrooms with projectors and access to the fully stocked library. Sports infrastructure includes a large playground an indoor game room and inter-college tournaments.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, often going beyond classroom teaching to guide students in projects and career planning. The course curriculum is well-structured and industry-relevant, with a mix of theoretical concepts.

The infrastructure is really good also the sports and other activities are great.

Placements: Most of the students who are currently placed have got the jobs off campus as the on campus recruitments aren't mostly available. Internships are a thing which are solely dependent on us whether or not we need to do. I mean we did had like around 2 companies for internship but they weren't really good and really low profile ones.

Infrastructure: The facilities, infrastructure is just superb. There are amazing labs alloted for each subject practicals of each branch differently. The maintainence and overall cleanliness, hygiene is great. Canteen food and seating area is also neat and decent. There is a gym area available as well. Also the library is where students spend most of their time as it has uncountable number of books and it's equipped with AC. So all in all a great infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty is not extremely the best but there are a few professors who are really good but overall it's okay. Teaching pattern is not very impressive and the professors seem a bit laid back when it comes to actually teaching but when you personally ask any queries they will help you to the fullest.

You will have a below-average college life.

Placements: You can not trust the placement sector when you join this college. However, there are open campus placements in which you can get placed, but only if you have an overall good academic record. I think the reason for this kind of situation is there are less students who are eligible for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college never disappoints you. The building is very well placed with grounds from all sides. Our college has 3 wings, and each of them sprawled over 3 floors. There is a separate building for the workshop. Classrooms are very spacious and have good exposure to lighting. Libraries and labs are maintained clean. Moreover, you never have to worry about the parking. There is a good space in the library which you need.

Faculty: Faculty members here are way very neglectful at completing the syllabus. About 4 subjects out of 5 subjects will compel you to indulge in self-study. But in engineering course only, we have to study on our own. So, this college is best suited for students who pass subjects by studying on their own.

Our college is the best place for engineers.

Placements: Placements in our college are done via campus selections. Good companies come and conduct the placement drives in our college. There are certain criteria for the selection process. Our seniors got placed with a package of 2.5 to 4 LPA. Today, the students who got placed in the campus placements are working in the respective companies.

Infrastructure: Our college has three wings named A, B and F. We have spacious classrooms for all the branches. We have well-designed labs for all the branches which contain the latest equipment. Our college has special buildings for branches like mechanical and production. We have a good canteen which provides various types of tasty dishes.

Faculty: We have highly experienced faculty in all the branches. Our faculty have teaching experience of 10-12 years. Our principal has completed his ME. Our teachers give digital lectures by using the projectors. We got industry training also. On every weekend, our faculty arranges seminars by the professionals.

Other: Every year, our college and seniors arrange a freshers party for the freshers. Every department arranges various events and sends the students to participate in other colleges. Events like cultural days, gatherings happen in the college. Our college has a spacious campus.

I was personally not happy to join this college.

Placements: I didn't notice any company other than Godrej in the placements. But, we have got seminars from IT industry seniors about how the work carries out at the industry level. But, last year, there were placements taking place in the college, and much more companies are taking the initiative to recruit the students from this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not at all cool. Only the office building is the best amongst the three of them, and other two are not even proper buildings. Some part of the college is still under construction, which is the place which students go and sit in the free time. There is no Wi-Fi in labs, and classrooms are huge. There is an adequate amount of place to sit. The library is good with working AC condition. There are no medical facilities, and we have indoor games available such as carrom board to play. The canteen food is the worst. I would suggest not to eat anything other than packed food.

Faculty: IT faculty teachers are really very helpful and good. They are quite supportive. I really don't think that teachers are much knowledgeable. They lack the quality of teaching. Regular lectures are not conducted. Teachers just read from books and teach as it is. The industrial exposure is not that good. The course curriculum is not at all useful and is quite different from what have learnt in the college.

Other: We have an event named Oddesey, and tech fests are conducted. The campus crowd is not that cool. To reach the college from Dombivli station, the only means to reach is auto rickshaw. The college has a ground and surroundings are filled with greenery. Other extra-curricular activities are not conducted.

College doesn't match up to other 20 year old institutions.

Placements: Placement office in SSJCOE isn't very active. They rely on a handful of companies that come to the college every year to employ students in low-paying jobs, sometimes even BPO jobs. Good companies show up rarely. Jio, Adrosonics, Nucsoft, Sankey Solutions and Qspiders were some of the interested parties this year in taking BEIT students. Computer science department had few other companies including Zycus Infotech. A low number of students get selected for the jobs-around 5-10%. And even after being selected, many students are not interested in joining the company. The roles offered were mostly related to testing and sometimes software development. Students from IT rarely do paid internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is mediocre at its best. The corridors and classrooms are cleaned regularly. There is no student Wi-Fi. Student library is good. However, access to e-library is blocked for some reason. The quality of food in the canteen has improved over the years, however, the hygiene is questionable. Access to clean drinking water is low, with just 2 purified water coolers in the massive college.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive of students if they lay low and make submissions on time. Assertiveness on students' part might not help always while talking to the faculty members. It is always better to say sorry and move on. Few teachers teach well, however, the students aren't used to such teachers as rest of the staff isn't the same. So these teachers end up facing disappointment and move to other colleges in University of Mumbai. The curriculum is designed by University of Mumbai and is the same for all the affiliated colleges. Industry exposure is minimal. However, faculty members do help if students come up with projects and research papers.

Other: SSJCOE doesn't match up to the other colleges that were established 20 years ago, largely due to ignorance by the management. Dombivli is a highly educated city for a good engineering college. However, SSJCOE fails the city in every respect. You can consider taking admission here if you stay very close.

It is good college for completing your engineering journey.

Placements: In my college placement percentage is approximately 20-30% normally graduated students securing placements. The highest package is 5 LPA it is the best package for any student and the lowest package is 2 LPA. About recruiting companies many companies are there like Teach Mahindra, TCS, HCLTech etc.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated and with projector and white boards and comfortable seating arrangements for students. Fully equipped labs with equipment and tools necessary for practical session and experiments. Hostel is not there and canteen food is also better for eating.

Faculty: The faculty is helpful by providing clear explanations, addressing doubts and guidance for projects and assignments. The curriculum is relevant as it aligns with current industry standards and trends. The semester exam are medium if you are well prepared for exam it will be very easy to pass the exam.

Other: I choose course was IT. The best thing about my course is to learn new things in IT domain.
