Decent college with good infrastructure but needs more industry exposure.
Placements: Around 70-75% of students from the BBA course got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 2.4 LPA, and average package is 3.5 LPA. Top companies are HDB Financial Services, ICICI Bank, Byju's, Axis Bank, Wipro (for business roles), and Just Dial.
Infrastructure: Our college has well-equipped classrooms, computer labs, digital library, and campus-wide Wi-Fi for BBA students. It has clean hostel rooms with 24X7 electricity, some issues with water, and security. Mess food is mostly hygienic and above average, with regular and special meals. It provides good sports facilities including cricket, football, basketball courts, and a gym.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful and qualified, though some may lack practical industry exposure. Teaching quality is average, with a focus more on theory than hands-on learning. Curriculum covers basic concepts but needs more industry-oriented updates. Semester exams are not very difficult. Most students can pass with regular study. The overall pass percentage is around 85-90%, with support available for backlogs.
Other: I chose BBA to build a strong foundation in business, management, and finance for future career growth. The best part of the course is exposure to basic business concepts, presentations, and group activities. It could improve with more industry visits, practical training, and updated course content. Events and fests happen occasionally but could be more frequent and large-scale. Campus crowd is mixed. Connectivity is decent, and scholarships are available for merit-based students. Extracurricular activities are present but limited, more clubs and competitions would enhance the experience.

I am absolutely satisfied with facilities.
Placements: 80-85% of students get placements from this BBA course every year. The highest package is 20 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. Almost every student gets internships from the college side although they are paid internships. Some students try to get internships off-campus on the basis of their skills.
Infrastructure: All facilities are provided in this college. Digital smart boards and projectors are provided in classrooms. Labs are full of high generation computers and Wi-Fi is provided all over the campus. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is good and acceptable. Medical facilities are provided 24x7 to students.
Faculty: All faculty members are provided in this college. Faculty members help students to learn things easily. Faculty members help students by teaching the main topics and by giving examples of PYQs, old question papers, etc. Semester exams are not so difficult in this course. Students can pass by studying just before exams.
Other: I chose this course because it will help me to improve my confidence and help me to interact with other people easily so that I can do sales jobs, etc. Events are conducted roughly. There are 1-3 events every month. Fests are held every year in the month of April.

College review for Shivalik.
Placements: Placements are decent; students can get jobs or internships on their own through their skills and hard work. The highest package for the BBA department is around 400,000 annually, while the minimum package for the year is 300,000 for 50% of the students. Recruiters are local to Dehradun and include small-scale companies.
Infrastructure: The college is very small, with only 20 acres of land and a completely green campus. The hostel is on the college campus, where rooms are big with three students per room, and the mess food is the best in Dehradun compared to other hostels. As compared to other colleges, the hostel rooms are spacious, and the food is satisfactory. The college has its own ground for sports.
Faculty: The faculty is not that well professional for teaching; they have not completed their PhDs. However, the study environment is good for the students. The course curriculum is old, and its relevance in the industry is not very effective. Semester exams are very easy; one night's studying can help students pass.
Other: With less money and a good study environment, the course is best for students. More relevant subjects related to the industry would be beneficial.

Teaching learning process is good but college life is bad here.
Placements: From 100 students only 10 can get placements and college does not provide a good number of internships. The internship provided by the college asked us to pay an amount of money. Top roles offered by the college are executive post, officer post, and sometimes manager post as well.
Infrastructure: College provides us with a decent campus with a wonderful garden and fountain. We have a good library but poor sports facility. Rent of hostel is too high, food in hostel is average as well. Canteen is not too good. The price of canteen is higher than expected sometimes. Food in the canteen is of poor quality and cleanliness is ensured.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well qualified for the subject. They are teaching but some of them are qualified with other courses and teaching other courses eg, faculty members who are teaching BBA are qualified with B.Com which is a little bit annoying. Otherwise, the teaching learning process is good.
Other: Fest is very decent or poor. Scholarships are good. Extracurricular activities are not too good.

Placements: Around 80-85% of students get placement in the BBA course from Shivalik College of Engineering. Top recruiting companies for this course include Intellipaat, Advi Group of Companies, Google, and Amazon. Approximately 70% of students also secured internships in different companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the college are wonderful; the infrastructure available for this course is good, with digital screens and projectors provided in each class. Wi-Fi is provided all over the campus. The quality of the facilities provided in the hostel is good, and the hostel rooms are neat and clean.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified, they have good teaching skills and try to explain each and every topic. They are helpful in clearing the queries of each and every student. Semester exams are not so difficult, students can pass exams just by studying a week before.
Other: This course is very helpful as it teaches students public speaking and improves their communication skills, and students get jobs as sales executives after completing the course.

Placements: For agriculture, placements are minimal or almost nonexistent, with a few opportunities in the marketing field. Only a small number of students get placed, and the highest package is around 3 LPA. The recruiting companies mainly cater to management students, primarily local companies from Dehradun.
Infrastructure: The college is not very large, but it has one of the best environments in Dehradun, with ample greenery and dedicated agricultural fields for students. Facilities include access to the agricultural field and nearby hostel rooms, which make it easy for students to reach the field. The hostel food is excellent and offers variety.
Faculty: The faculty in agriculture is highly qualified and provides valuable guidance for the future. The curriculum is top-notch, relevant to fieldwork, and prepares students for the industry, also allowing exploration into other fields. Semester exams are moderate, and students can achieve good marks by attending classes and studying consistently.
Other: This course provides excellent knowledge in agriculture and hands-on field experience, distinguishing it from B.Tech and other courses. It offers extensive fieldwork exposure along with a deep understanding of various agricultural subjects.
