Review of Shree Venkateshwara College of Paramedical Sciences, Gobichettipalayam.

Placements: I am a respiratory therapy student. Almost all classes are completely full except for some departments. The average amount that we need to spend for the total academic year will be around 4 LPA, including hostel fees. Facilities are only average compared to other nearby colleges. There is more opportunity to work in several hospitals during the posting period. Can gain more practical knowledge.

Infrastructure: Poor hostel and campus facilities. It would be better if you were a day scholar than being in the college hostel. Not all foods are bad; there are some good foods also available. But the issue is the fees. It won't be that much if you are staying outside as a day scholar.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Every teacher is qualified and knowledgeable. There are no semester exams; only yearly exams are there. Passing percentage is 60%. Exam fees are higher than other nearby colleges. Several internal exams are conducted so that students can improve their writing speed and they can practice more to write the yearly exams more efficiently.

Other: I joined this college because of the course I am studying. Management seats are available. I wish that the college improves their facilities like lab facilities and good infrastructure. Events and festivals are celebrated rarely in our department compared to other departments. You will get a good life if you study any other courses like physiotherapy or engineering in our college.

It is a good college for students with good infrastructure and hostel.

Placements: Recruiting companies are not available for paramedical science. Management arranges internships in the 1st year. Students get jobs in hospitals as technologists after graduation and the salary package depends on experience.

Infrastructure: Labs are available in our college. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Bus facilities are good. Management arranges transport facilities for students to go to the hospital during posting. Our college does not have a hospital but it has been linked with many hospitals.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-educated. They have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Annual exams are conducted in our college as it is affiliated with MGR University, Chennai. Our course is valuable. The pass percentage is good every year.

Other: It is an affordable college for all students.
