Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar: College review
Placements: I am a student of Shri Ram College Muzaffarnagar and I am very happy to write this review. Our college is among the top 20 colleges of Maa Shakumbhari University. Every year, 80 to 90% of students get placed easily here, and good companies like Google, Microsoft, etc., keep coming here for placement.
Infrastructure: Our college looks very beautiful, with boundaries all around. Every department has its own library where you can study, and you're also provided with a separate Wi-Fi facility. For courses like BCA or Computer Science, there are also computer labs you can use in your free time. Additionally, we have 2 different canteens here.
Faculty: Teachers are very good here, all teachers teach well and have a very good nature. They all take care of the children, and if a child has any problem, they try their 100% to help them. About 80 to 90% of the children who work hard pass the semester exams.
Other: I thought I should share some information. All the teachers behave so politely with the children as if they all know them. They are very good teachers, and their teaching style is also very good. The college is also very good. This college has almost all the courses, which you can find out by calling them.

The worst college experience - Fake placement, poor teaching, and no support.
Placements: The placement of this college is the worst. The website shows in the Shri Ram Group of Colleges official website is 100% fake about placement. No MNCs like at least Tata visit the campus. Only sales jobs are offered with very low packages. Very few students (1-2%) get placed. There is no real placement support.
Infrastructure: Only the building looks good. Labs are not working properly, and classrooms are average. Hostel rooms are not good. Washrooms are dirty and mess food is the worst. No proper medical, sports, and no proper management. When we are talking about the infrastructure then this is good.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful or skilled. Most just read from slides. The curriculum is good but practice learning or skill development is provided. Exams are easy but don't help in real understanding. When you go to faculty members to demand that please improve the education quality and give properly skilled teachers. They say we are working on them and nothing is happening after writing more and more applications to request to solve any problem related to education.
Other: I joined BCA here due to misinformation and false promises shown by the counselors and on the internet. But the reality is different. No proper coding, no good teaching, and no events or campus life. No event is conducted to learn anything only events like adult dance.

I am satisfied with the college faculty, but there are no extracurricular activities for students.
Placements: The college placements are below average, and the placement programs only provide students with low and average packages, even if they have extra skills. This is because only a handful of companies participate in the college placement drive. The average salary package for students from the college ranges between 2 LPA and 5-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has sufficient facilities and modern infrastructure. It contains a large ground, a volleyball court, a basketball court, a garden, a library, Wi-Fi, three computer labs, spacious ventilated classrooms (without air conditioning), two canteens, and sufficient sports equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and well-suited for their roles. They are very helpful towards students and try to guide them to reach their full potential. The teaching skills of the teachers are also commendable. The curriculum is relevant to the course, but it should be further improved by including recent technologies. The semester exams held by the university are a bit difficult (to the subject).
Other: Most of the crowd in the college is from nearby villages and small towns, therefore. Students that are new to that atmosphere may or may not face some issues to blend in at starting. There are only 2 Fests (Sometimes only 1), and they are average.

Overall review about our college is average.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed from our college is more than 80%. Top companies visiting our campus for placement are Infosys, HCL, Cogent Services, and many more. Top package for our college students is 18 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities are of many types. Firstly, in my college, there is a huge campus and playground where students can play and live. Our hostel quality is average. Food is not so hygienic and the taste is also not good but we can accept the meal they serve.
Faculty: Course curriculum of our college is good. Our teacher is so helpful to students. There are so many qualified teachers available in our college and they are so educated. Course curriculum is relevant. Teachers are good with students. That's it.
Other: I chose this course because of its good placement.

College is good for gaining knowledge. Infrastructure and facilities are good and satisfactory.
Placements: My batch is good. Seats for the BCA course at our college are about 600. But placement rate is very low—about 5% only. The average package is 2.5 lacs per year. The recruiting companies are HCL, Tata, Wipro, etc. The top roles offered are for only software engineers.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are too good in this price range because the college is too beautiful and has good facilities. I do not know about hostels. Food quality is decent and canteens, medical facilities, sports and games are fine for the price range. There are not many sports and gaming facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers came and taught daily and were also helpful in some aspects, like for example, helping with some projects of Java, etc. Courses are fine to take for degrees and knowledge. Semester exams are lengthy but easy to understand. The pass percentage is about 65%.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge and the surrounding areas are full of technology at this time. So that BCA can help to make the surrounding area grow. Scholarships are also available but for a few students only. It's very hard to get a scholarship. Events and fests are occasionally held in the evening.
