Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placements.
Placements: Around 50-70 percent of students were placed, with packages ranging from 2 LPA to 5 LPA. The average is 3 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini. About 25 percent got internships in firms like Adani Power and DRDO, mostly for roles such as Software Engineer and Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Infrastructure: The Electrical Engineering (Electronics and Power) department has well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and access to a central digital library with research journals and e-books. The campus infrastructure is clean, well-maintained, and provides a good academic environment. The hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, 24/7 water and electricity, and Wi-Fi access. The mess food quality is average but hygienic, and the canteen offers better options at reasonable prices. Medical facilities are available on campus with a doctor on call, and emergency support is provided when needed. Sports facilities include a large playground, gym, and courts for cricket, football, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, with most holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees, and they guide students in both academics and projects. The teaching quality is generally good and concept-oriented, using practical examples. The course curriculum is updated and relevant, following RTMNU guidelines, and includes industry-based subjects like power systems, control engineering, and electronics, though it still needs more exposure to modern industrial tools and software to make students fully industry-ready. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty; conceptual understanding and regular study are enough to pass. The pass percentage usually remains around 85-90 percent.
Other: I’m from the Electrical Engineering (Electronics and Power) course at SSGMCE, Shegaon. I chose this course due to my interest in power systems and electronics. The best parts are the experienced faculty, good labs, and practical learning. It needs improvement in industrial exposure and core placements. The college has technical and cultural fests, an active campus crowd, peaceful surroundings, good connectivity, and offers scholarships with many extracurricular opportunities.

Nice faculty and facilities.
Placements: About 40%-60% of students got placed. The highest package offered last year was 14 LPA, the average was 5 LPA-6 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Many students do internships during their college time. The roles offered are SDE, GET, designer, etc. Placements are getting higher every year.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped lab, classrooms, precious reading hall, and large library are available. Hostel is clean, food is nice, medical facilities are available, and sports complex has many facilities. The campus provides all types of facilities like nutritious food, a large playground, and cricket ground, which is very nice.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Semester exams are easy to pass if we attend the lecture consistently. Exams are conducted by the SGBA university. Teachers are nice and helpful to the students. Teaching and learning are done in a very simple way.
Other: Course provides valuable knowledge. To improve the course, there should be more practical applications. Events are very nice and done in a very nice way. The campus is an 82-acre, lush green campus. Some students get a scholarship, which means free mess and food, and toppers get scholarships.

Good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: 50 % - 60 % students get placed in 2024 and the average package for the college for computer Science and engineer is 4 - 5 Lacs per Annum. The lowest package for 2024 is 3.5 Lacs per annum. Tata consultancy services, bristlecone, cognizant, Accenture, IBM, Infosys, bizsence solution are the top recruiters for computer Science and engineering course, the college does not provide the internship, only startups are there for internships, the students doing preparing for internships from outside.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure we got here is really good. The college campus is too good. The campus is equipped with highspeed internet which provide seamless access to the students and the connectivity is also good. The labs are well maintained and the lab having the modern equipment and the good staff for guiding student. The library is very good more than 10000 books is available in this library and the well maintained and good place for the students to read books or doing their activity and the silence is at the first priority in the library. We got book about all the subjects other than engineering also one main thing that is the college itself provides the textbook for the course classrooms are also good with good ventilation and the teaching staff is very supportive.1800 is the charges of the mess per month and the quality of food in the mess average. The mess provides the workers to serve the students. College also provide the medical facilities with the MBBS doctor the timing for the hospital is about 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm. The ground of the college is well maintained. The gym is also their which is very good with modern equipment.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good and the staff is supportive and understanding, the also provide the leave for the internships and the college provides the practical sessions and the more concentration is at the practical more than the theory, maximum teachers are the Ph.D. in their respective domain and the other are pursuing Ph.D. the college also provide the development skill programme in which they teaches student how to prepare for interview and what to do for aptitude round and also gets the lecture at every Saturday and Sunday for second and third year
the course curriculum is not enough for the industry point of view, their are very unusual subject which are in syllabus and which is only for passing and the student did not get any benefit from this subjects, as the college is university affiliated so the syllabus is not good enough for industry perspective. The exam is done by the university but the exam is very strict and the well maintained, the 63 is the passing percentage.

Review of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon.
Placements: The highest package of the college is 14 LPA on campus and off-campus, which is more than 14 LPA. Top companies like Tata, Bajaj, Tech Mahindra, and TCS hire mechanical engineering students. Most of them got placed, and most of the time, 90% of students get placed in college.
Infrastructure: There are five courses for BE students. MBA students get entry through CET. The hostel is separate for all first to fourth year students. In the first year, students get three sharing rooms. The hostel food is good. The canteen is near the hostel and should be improved. Medical facilities are also present in the college.
Faculty: In college, teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Co-curricular activities are much more. They are highly qualified. They help students, and most of them are very supportive. Semester exams are not very tough, but the question solving is difficult.
Other: The college provides most of the skill fests that are helpful for students to improve their skills. The college fest is good. The campus is spread over 82 acres of land. The crowd has 1400 students. Most of the time, the college focuses on students' extracurricular activities.

It is the best college in Vidharbha.
Placements: Placements are very good. We just need to be skilled. Companies from different regions visit the college for placement drives. Companies provide jobs for students with good or average packages. Students who have done hard work get their dream job or guidance in college from the best faculty members.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available. It has the best quality of network connection, with maintained quality of food. Facilities in the canteen are really good. It maintains the quality of food at a proper price.
Faculty: Teachers are best and well-qualified. Many of them have registered for PhD and many have done it already. They also provide training by the college for giving their best of knowledge with new technology courses. They maintain discipline as well as friendly relations with students. They always motivate and support students.
Other: The best thing about our course is labs have the latest technology. They provide hands-on training on new technology. It helps to take part in extracurricular activities by giving relation in academics for a fixed period.

SSGMCE: A Great Blend of Academics, Campus Life, and Opportunities.
Placements: About 50% students got placed last year. The highest package was about 12 LPA and the lowest was another 3 LPA. Top recruiters were Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, and Zoho. The top roles were Software Developer, Network Engineer, System Analyst, VLSI.
Infrastructure: At SSGMCE, we have good labs, a library, and Wi-Fi for studies. The hostels are clean with RO water and Wi-Fi, and the mess food is simple but good. There's also a dispensary for health needs and nice sports facilities to relax. Overall, it's a good place to study and enjoy college life.
Faculty: The teachers at SSGMCE are helpful and know their subjects well. The teaching is good, and they explain things clearly. The course covers relevant topics and helps prepare us for the industry. Exams are not too tough if you study regularly, and the pass percentage is decent.
Other: I chose Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering because I’m interested in technology and communication systems. The best part of the course is learning both hardware and software, along with lab work. I wish there were more workshops and industry exposure. The campus is lively, with events and a good crowd, and the environment is peaceful. There are also great extracurricular activities and scholarships available, which make college life better.
