At SSGMCE, all the facilities are available, so you can get in here without any hesitation.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful and teach very well. Lectures get engaged every day, and attendance is mandatory. Faculty members also help students to get industry-ready, and the college provides industry visits to students. Our exam dean has changed now, so students can't cheat in exams and have to study on their own to clear all the subjects.

The college has all the tools and facilities, but the people there are not good. They are very rude.

Faculty: Faculty members are not well-educated. Most faculty members completed their B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. at the same college. You can understand the lack of diversity in the college from this. Teachers do not even enter the marks until the full answer sheets are filled with ink.

I am very disappointed because of the campus life of this college; academics are very focused

Faculty: Teachers are very educated in my college with teaching experience of 20 to 30 years. They are all very supportive through the course, and the one thing I like about this college is its focus on academics. The course curriculum is very related and applicable in real-life problem solving.

Maharashtras best engineering college with good placements and all facilities provided by institute.

Faculty: Teachers were really helpful. All the Teachers and staff have high qualifications, as they have a Ph.d in their Subjects. They are knowledgeable and provide knowledge every time during Lectures. This course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready. The Semester exams are quite easy to pass because the University has applied the NEP rule to students, allowing easy passing in the exams with 60 marks of theory and 40 marks of Internals. The passing criteria are 40 marks out ...

It’s a good college. One can join.

Faculty: As the college is not autonomous, there is a little difficulty in passing semester exams. There is transparency in every aspect: exam marks, internals given on the basis of unit test, attendance, and TEC of 30 marks. Faculty members are really supportive, and students get a lot of help from faculty members.

I like the infrastructure and cleanliness here. Disappointment due to strictness and placement.

Faculty: Teachers and staff are highly qualified, but their teaching methods don't help that much. The 1st year teaching staff is great, but the branch faculty members are not that great, they provide industry visits to mechanical, electronics and power students. For electronics and power, there is no industry visit, teaching and practicals are taken seriously, so no issue there, but they don't make industry-ready. Due to NEP, they follow the 60, 40 pattern, 60 marks theory paper in which 18 marks are re...

Good placements in Mechanical Engineering.

Faculty: Some faculty are very nice, but some of them are not good. Teachers are well-mannered and respectful. They are well-qualified, some of them are IIT graduates, some are from NIT, but in general, all the faculty members of my college are very good, and exams are very strict.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placements.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, with most holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees, and they guide students in both academics and projects. The teaching quality is generally good and concept-oriented, using practical examples. The course curriculum is updated and relevant, following RTMNU guidelines, and includes industry-based subjects like power systems, control engineering, and electronics, though it still needs more exposure to modern industrial tools and software to make stu...

Nice faculty and facilities.

Faculty: Faculty are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Semester exams are easy to pass if we attend the lecture consistently. Exams are conducted by the SGBA university. Teachers are nice and helpful to the students. Teaching and learning are done in a very simple way.

Review of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon.

Faculty: In college, teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Co-curricular activities are much more. They are highly qualified. They help students, and most of them are very supportive. Semester exams are not very tough, but the question solving is difficult.

It is the best college in Vidharbha.

Faculty: Teachers are best and well-qualified. Many of them have registered for PhD and many have done it already. They also provide training by the college for giving their best of knowledge with new technology courses. They maintain discipline as well as friendly relations with students. They always motivate and support students.

SSGMCE: A Great Blend of Academics, Campus Life, and Opportunities.

Faculty: The teachers at SSGMCE are helpful and know their subjects well. The teaching is good, and they explain things clearly. The course covers relevant topics and helps prepare us for the industry. Exams are not too tough if you study regularly, and the pass percentage is decent.

Absolutely satisfied because of the environment and the discipline of the college.

Faculty: I am satisfied with the college and the course I am pursuing. The teaching staff is very helpful. Because they give us the opportunity to do some projects on the basis of subjects. Our department gives students the opportunity to go to industry visits like Tata Power, Adani Power, etc. Passing percentage is also good for our college in comparison to other colleges in our university.

The placement per year increases.

Faculty: The teachers are very good and supportive. The college is affiliated with Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. The syllabus is not industry-ready because there are so many subjects that are not important for our course, but the exam is strict.
