Tour of SIES from my POV.
Placements: 80% of students got placement at TCS. Microsoft and Google came, and more than 70% got internships for software engineers, network checkers, etc. The college is awesome, and I love the teachers; they are so helpful, and the crowd is so good and classy, and that is the best part of college.
Infrastructure: Labs is good, Wi-Fi is available with high speed, the canteen is average, but fests are awesome; they are literally high class, and the infrastructure is not that bad, but we can live there without hesitation and love the auditorium; it is too large, and the lighting is just awesome.
Faculty: Teachers are so qualified and good, no doubt in teaching, and semesters are tough, but they get easier because of their guidance. The semester is good, and internals are MCQ-type, and it is the best part of the exam. I love this system, and overall, I love the college.
Other: Fantasies Fest is the best thing that happens on the side, and that was like the best fest ever seen.

It is the perfect college for all the students.
Placements: About 79.50% of students are placed. The highest salary offered is Rs.25000 per month, the average salary offered is Rs.12000 - Rs.15000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs.8000 to Rs.10000 per month. Capgemini, Infosys, and TCS are the top recruiters. I am not aware of the internships. Software developer, IT specialist, software engineer, tester, and android developer are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and our library is excellent. The college provides us with a wonderful library. The facility of a hostel is not available in our college but we have a canteen. Since we are covid batch, the canteen is not yet opened. We have different inter- college sports and games conducted by our IT department.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are helpful and ensure to gain perfect amount of knowledge in a understandable manner. The course makes students industry-ready. But just gaining a degree doesn't mean that you are capable of being industry-ready. We have to learn some extra skills to make ourselves differentiate from others. The papers are set in a moderate manner. The passing percentage of paper is 35%.

I think my decision of taking admission in this college is worth it.
Placements: 70% of students get placement in our college. I don't know about the package exactly. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, LTI these companies come for placement. The percentage of internships is also good, you will get an internship if you are good at your work or studies.
Infrastructure: Library, labs, classroom, seminar hall, etc. facilities are available. I don't know about the hostel. The canteen food is good, a panel of doctors are available. In sports, our college students had win medals for our college, and other activities also celebrated in our college.
Faculty: All the teachers are fully qualified, and their teaching quality is nice. Yes, it make students ready because teachers are very understanding they help students wherever students get doubt. The difficulty level of the exam is decent, if you will study then you will going to score good marks or grades. The pass percentage is 35.

This college provides very good teaching skills.
Placements: Almost 45-50% of students are placed every year. Placements depend on students' performance. The minimum criteria for placements are to get more than 60% of marks in academics, and most important is to clear the interview. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 per month to 12,000 per month. The average salary offered varies between Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 per month. The top recruiting companies of our course are LTI, Deloitte, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, and TCS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are excellent. Free Wi-Fi available is for our good use. Laboratories are for practical purposes, and every student has a different section to perform practical. Classrooms contain 60 students. It has a library cum reading hall with good infrastructure. The quality of food is excellent in our canteen. Sports and game events are held every year in the fest.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. They have a good amount of teaching experience. Teachers help students whenever they approach them or call them within reasonable hours. For our batch, for the first time, SIES has become an autonomous college, and the course curriculum is balanced. The college also includes add-on courses to avail, like students, have an Indian Ethos course about Hindu Mythology. Students even have free courses on design thinking, cybersecurity, and AI through the open P-Tech, i.e., the IBM platform. Students get extra credits for completing these courses.
Other: I want to pursue my career in information technology that's why I opted for this course. Every year our IT department organises an event called Edit. This year it is edit 8.0.

Teachers do everything to help us understand the concepts properly. Teachers also help us to choose our careers. This course makes us ready for the industrial level.
Other: This course is in much demand, so I have chosen this course. Almost everything is good in this course. There are different types of scholarships available in our college. Events and fests are held every year.

It is not a second-tier college.
Placements: SIES has an amazing placement cell, which provides a lot of opportunities. Some reputed recruiters are corporates like JP Morgan, ICIC Prudential, HDFC Standard Life, NIIT and Tata Consultancy Services. In total, 78 students got recruited in the year 2018-2019, 82 students in the year 2017-2018, 142 students in the year 2016-2017, and 38 students in the year 2015-2016. However, it is a commerce college, so most of the recruiters here are for students from a commerce background. I am currently pursuing B.Sc in IT. There are a lot of internship opportunities, but none of them is for the IT department yet.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is amazing, clean and overall new looking. Classrooms are spacious, and also the library and reading room facilities are great. If you are one of the semester toppers, then you can get a library card that allows you access to a vast number of books for a long time. The college has a gymkhana, auditorium, computer lab and a counseling room. We can use and study a research and student's lab for practicals even after college hours. It does not have a ground, but it has space in front of the building for fests and events.
Faculty: Teachers help you whenever you approach them or call them within reasonable hours. For our batch, for the first time, SIES has become an autonomous college, and the course curriculum is quite balanced. The college also includes add-on courses to avail, like we have an Indian Ethos Course about Hindu Mythology. We even have free courses on design thinking, cybersecurity and AI through the open P-Tech, i.e., IBM platform. We get extra credits for completing these courses.
Other: SIES stood out to me because of the amazing extracurricular activities encouraged by the college. We have NSS events, Fantasies fest, EDIT IT fest, Pongal Day and Rose Day celebrations. Also, our college organises a lot of helpful webinars like Blockchain Technology. The campus crowd is very helpful, and there is great networking amongst peers and seniors.

The course is good, but don't join SIES College.
Placements: Coding, SQL developer, etc., are the roles offered. Around 80 to 90% of the students got placed. Internships are provided by the college if you have decent grades. Top companies that visited for my course are Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, L&T, Barclays etc. The highest package offered is Rs. 25,000 per month, the average salary offered is Rs. 16,000 per month, and the lowest salary is Rs. 10,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The canteen is not much good. You can go and have Raju ka samosa and pav, outside the college gate at Rs. 15, or eat Frankie besides Raju ka samosa pav wala. If you go towards the petrol pump, you have a variety of options such as Chinese bhel, sandwich, milkshakes, etc., which are safe to consume.
Faculty: The curriculum provides basic knowledge about the course. Only two to three teachers are good. Laboratories are great. The college offers placements in the 5th semester provided you don't have any backlogs. If you have a decent score of 7 pointers, you will be recruited.
    Other: Extracurricular activities are good.

I am satisfied with the college faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: Students should score about 50% in HSC, which will often make you eligible for admission. Even commerce students can apply for admission. The highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. About 50% of the students get placed every year by the top companies.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are the best. Airtel Wi-Fi is available for the students. The library is filled with every book possible. Canteens are not that great. Hostel facility is not available. The college provides medical facilities. There is no ground to play any sports or games.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are way more educated. They are helpful and highly qualified. They have good students handling technique. The course curriculum is relevant. It some makes the students industry-ready, and they provide more verbal skills.
Other: Extracurricular activities conducted are the worst.
