This college is very good for studies because of its best teachers.

Placements: In our college, 5 out of 100 students get placements every year. The highest and lowest salary packages offered to students in our college are 5 LPA and 1 LPA, respectively. A few students got the opportunity. Many students did not get placements.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college were good. Labs were fine. Classrooms and library were fine. Not all the equipment, but essential equipments are in the labs. The hostel facilities are good, and the quality of food available in the mess is also good.

Faculty: Teachers were good, qualified, and knowledgeable. I got to learn a lot from them. I am satisfied with them. Semester exams are very tough so we get a good education. Every year, 90 out of 100 students graduate from our college. Our college students are practically ready to face real-life situations.

Other: I like this course. If the placements became more genuine in the future, it would be really helpful for students.

Candidate must passed H.S.L.C./ 10th or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject in a single sitting (without grace marks in Science and Mathematics) and also have to pass individually in both theory and practical/ Internal Assessment with minimum 40% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for General/OBC/ MOBC candidates, 35% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates and 33% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates, from a recognized Institute/ board. Candidate must register in www.dte.assam.gov.in for admission offered by SCTE. The Maximum age limit for UR/OBC/MOBC is 20 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024, for SC/ST, maximum age limit is 23 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024 and for PH/PwD, maximum age limit is 25 years 6 months as on on 31-12-2024. NOTE: No compartmental candidate will be allowed to take admission. For Rank Generation Marks of Four Subjects (Maths, Science, English And Social Science) will be Considered. Candidates must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam . [Except son/daughter of central Govt. Employees). Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) must be produced at the time of Counseling. Physical Fitness (Optional): Candidate must be physically and mentally fit. Candidate will have to produce fitness Certificate at the time of admission from a registered medical practitioner as per enclosed format. Eligibility for Sports Quota: Candidate must be a medal winner of State Games/ State Championships/ Tournaments organized by Assam Olympic Association/ State Sports Association/Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam and will be decided in order of Medals of Gold/ Silver/ Bronze received. The medals received by the candidates must be within the period of last 3 years. Eligibility for NCC Quota: Selection of candidates for NCC category would be considered in order of merit as per NCC Examination Certificate. NOTE: Candidates are asked to submit the documents of the NCC camp attendance. In case of tie in NCC certificate and grade, the camp attendance will be considered for deciding rank.
