Faculty: Teaching quality was excellent. The course curriculum was relevant. It makes the students industry-read. Subjects were inline of industry demand like carbon finance, infrastructure finance, oil & gas accounting and taxation, management of power sector, and energy economics.
Other: I have chosen this course because the course was offering the sectoral management knowledge in which I was working, which was very much relevant to my work experiences. The best things about the course were it was designed in such a way that it provides 360-degree knowledge of the sector. Induction of corporate taxation/personal financial management would be better/improve our course. Campus fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, extracurricular, activities, etc., were good here.

An ideal institution for students, looking to specialize in the energy and infrastructure sector.
Placements: Placements offered for the students of our senior batch were good. Many companies conducted campus placements for the students of our senior batch. The package offered to the students in this year has been increased, compared to the previous year. Public sector utilities, IT consultancies, and banks were the major recruiters. Internships provided to the students of both the batches were 100%, and good profiles are offered to the students in reputed firms.
Infrastructure: In terms of facilities provided, our college is one of the finest colleges in Gujarat. The classrooms are well-equipped and are comfortable, which help in providing a good learning environment. The entire campus is connected with high-speed Wi-Fi. The hostel rooms are spacious, and they provide all the necessary facilities.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well-designed as per the industry requirements to help the students perform well in their job. All the professors possess a doctorate. They are highly knowledgeable and supportive. They are helpful in providing a better future for the students. The course curriculum is indeed useful, as mentioned by the alumni.
Other: Every year, a fest is organised in our college. Alumni reunions are also organised across various cities.

SPM-PDPU is good in placements.
Placements: Many students from Energy and Infrastructure department and General Management department are placed in good companies with good job profiles. The highest package offered to them was 17 LPA and the average package offered was 7 LPA. Many companies like Accenture, Protiviti, ICICI bank, Mottmac, GAIL, etc. visited our campus for recruiting students. The college offered internships to around 90% of students and the highest stipend offered to them was Rs. 45,000.
Infrastructure: The facilities offered to the students by the college are good. The campus is WiFi enabled and is available all the time. All types of issues and queries regarding labs as well as classrooms are solved within 24 hrs of complaint. Food provided in the canteen is good, and the supervisors always take feedback from the students regularly and try to improve according to the requirements. The hostel rooms are spacious and well equipped.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are very cooperative and friendly. They try to interact with every student and help them improve their academics. The faculty uses both traditional, as well as smart teaching techniques for teaching. The college provides good industrial exposure so that we get to know about the work culture more clearly.

Value for money. Excellent place for energy sector.
Placements: Well if you take an admission in this college do not worry about the placement and internship its bound to happen which means there is 100% placement. But there is a great variation in the placement packages ranging from Rs. 4.5 to Rs. 17 lakhs per annum. Thus grow yourself as much as possible. The average package offered is Rs. 7 lakhs per annum. The good number of the companies visit the college with variety of job profile. The consulting companies like KPMG, Protivity and Mott Mac Donald, PSU, ONGC, BPCL, IOCL and Manager gas. Also, there is another course of general management, thus various bank visit so you can seat for the interview. The banks like ICICI and SBI visits. The detailed list is available on the college website. The placement season starts from November and by December 80% of the students are placed and 100% before April. The stipend around Rs. 25,000 is given 15 % of the students in the class. But you will get a good exposure.
Infrastructure: Entire PDPU campus is Wi-Fi zoned. JIO supports it. So you can enjoy the high-speed internet. The library has a full range of book from management to philosophy, operations, finance and every other subject. We have a rich collection of periodicals and magazines. Almost all good newspaper are provided. If there is some book which is not in the library we just need to give application, the book will be provided in a 1-2 week. Also, there is a separate library for the school of technology, school of liberal studies and school of petroleum technology. Thus you can access four different libraries. Medical services are available, a provision for MBBS doctor on campus. Also, there is psychological counselling centre for the student in need. There is a senior doctor who visits centre weekly. There is 24 hr ambulance facility for the student. If you love football, then this is a place for you. We have two football grounds, one cricket ground, one tennis lawn, one volleyball ground, one badminton court and other indoor games like table tennis. The canteen provides food four times a day ( Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner). It maintain a high quality of food. Also, they provide a variety of dishes. As far as taste is concerned, they are good for me. But people dislike it. They provide Jain, Gujarati, Punjabi and non-veg food. Still, if you are not satisfied we have Havmor, Amul and other good paid eateries inside the campus. The hostel for girls is on the campus. While for boys its outside. Both AC and non AC rooms are available with a choice of 1-2-3 sharing. The boy's hostel is newly constructed, and you will feel like 3-star hotel. There will be a common TV on each floor. Good security. If there is any electrical or plumbing issue, they come to room weekly. They maintain it like its home. The cleaning staff comes to the room every day. There is laundry facility is available but is chargeable. The classrooms are well equipped. There are a projector, whiteboard and a blackboard. All classrooms are centrally AC.
Faculty: The faculty are good. Most of them have a work experience and good teaching experience. They will teach less from the book but based on case studies and real-life experience which is needed in MBA. Each student is allotted mentor to whom you can approach in the hour of need. The teaching is mostly through PPT, and there are various presentation and guest lecture from the various field who add knowledge to young minds. There are 11 full-time faculty members for 240 students. But don't think the ratio is bad. There is a large number of visiting faculty who are good. The course is very dynamic. The covering Marketing, operation, finance, economics and many other subjects. You will enjoy learning it. Except for one faculty, you will love learning. But I think overall Its good.

Dear Abhi, SPM wasn't taking XAT till last year. Hence it is difficult to say the cut off as this is the first year. CAT percentile cut off is usually 65-70. So, XAT should be equivalent to the same.

It doesn't depend on a particular stream when you complete a post graduation course rather it depends on your excellence in work so don't worry, if you are skilled then you will surely get hired.
