Merit-cum-Means Scholarships (50% Tuition Fee waiver)
Maximum 10 Merit-cum-Means Scholarships (50% Tuition Fee waiver) are available as per the PDEU scholarship policy for School of Management, MBA students.
Eligibility for the Scholarship:-
1. The policy stipulates that the family income (from all sources) of the candidate in the previous financial year should not exceed INR 10 Lakhs.
2. The candidate should have scored a minimum 85 percentile in CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT applicable for admissions for the session 2026-27
To maintain scholarship in subsequent term/year, students need to have minimum 3.2 CGPA. Other details shall be shared with candidates during the admission process.
Merit Scholarships (50% Tuition Fees Waiver)
There is a total of 04 Merit scholarships available for MBA students.
To be eligible for the scholarship, the students are required to have a CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT percentile score of 85 OR Above.
Merit scholarship will be available for both years of study, subject to students maintaining the scholarship in subsequent terms/years. Students need to have a minimum 3.2 CGPA.
Defence Scholarships (50% Tuition Fees Waiver)
A maximum of 02 Defence Scholarships (50% Tuition Fee waiver) are available as per the PDEU scholarship policy for the School of Management MBA Students.
Eligibility for the Scholarship:-
1. The policy stipulates that the family income (from all sources) of the candidate in the previous financial year should not exceed INR 10 Lakhs. Other details (required documents) shall be shared with candidates during the admission process.
2. Defence scholarship will be available for both years of study, subject to the students.
Eligible students are required to attend classes actively & regularly, follow School & University discipline norms, and show exemplary behaviour during the MBA Programme. The final decision about the four scholarship recipients shall be made purely on merit.
Admission to an MBA programme in the School of Management (SoM), Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) is moderately costly. The cost of the full 2 years MBA programme is approximately 104000/- INR which is broken up as tuition fees, examination fees and other incidental charges. The total expense to complete the course is approximately INR 8.4 Lacs besides, it costs INR 4.2 Lacs per annum. Also there is deposit which is 10000 INR one time and registration fee of 5000 INR one time. The costs per annum of the hostel are INR 80, 000-1.2 Lacs as per the type of a hostel that the stu-dents want to get themselves accommodated in.
School of Management, PDEU offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to MBA students. Selected students get a 50% waiver on the tuition fee. Aspirants should not have a family income of more than INR 10 Lacs in the previous financial year. Also, aspirants should have secured 85 percentile CAT/ XAT/ NMAT for selection.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Placements: The placements are good in the senior batch. Almost 90-95% of the students have got placements. 18.4 LPA is the highest package of this year, while average pay is around 7-8 LPA. Various companies such as GAIL, Accenture, Reliance, Adani, Torrent were some of the companies that visited the campus. Almost 100% of the students got their internship from the college. College has a placement cell.
Placements: School of Petroleum Management offers one of the best placements in the field of Energy and Infrastructure sector as well as in General Management. The average package of the school ranges between Rs.6.5 to Rs.7 Lacs p. a. with the highest package of Rs.15 Lacs p. a. in the latest records. Some of the regular recruiters at SPM are Infosys, Accenture, KPMG, Protiviti, MottMac, CARE Ratings, Asian Paints, Evosys, Future Retail, RIL, Sterlite, Capital First, ICICI BANK and many more.
Placements: The placement committee is good. There is a placement cell with some student representatives in it. Various PSUs also come to the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered for last year students was 17 lacs per annum. Packages offered for energy and infrastructure students are higher than general management students.
Placements: Placements offered for the students of our senior batch were good. Many companies conducted campus placements for the students of our senior batch. The package offered to the students in this year has been increased, compared to the previous year. Public sector utilities, IT consultancies, and banks were the major recruiters. Internships provided to the students of both the batches were 100%, and good profiles are offered to the students in reputed firms.
Placements: For the batch of 2018 General Management,90% of the students got placed in the companies like Future group, Knight frank, Infosys, and more with the highest package of 8.5 Lacs P. A and Average package is around 6.1 Lacs which quite acceptable considering the current scenario and the course is new as compare to the flagship course of Energy & Infrastructure which is doing very good over the years.
