SoM PDEU MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
School of Management, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) offers two full-time courses of MBA for a duration of two years. The institute offers MBA (General) across five specialisations. Other than this, MBA in Energy and Infrastructure Management is also offered to students. Each year is divided into three trimesters. Admission to MBA at SoM PDEU is entirely entrance-based. Candidates must qualify for either CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ NMAT with a valid score. Along with this, the performance of candidates is also evaluated separately in other selection rounds. Yes, PDEU accepts scores of CAT entrance exam for its MBA course. Candidates who have valid score of CAT can apply on the official website of SoM PDEU. Apart from this, the institute also accepts scores of other entrance exams such as XAT, MAT and NMAT. A total of 60% weightage is given for the entrance exam in the entire selection process. Candidates are able to proceed for futher rounds, only after the submission of the scores of respective entrance exams.
For admission to a two-year MBA course at SoM PDEU, candidates have to meet the basic educational requirements as per the course. To be eligible to apply for MBA programme, candidates must complete graduation with at least 50% aggregate in all semesters/ trimesters or equivalent CGPA.There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for reserved category candidates. They have to get 45% aggregate as the minimum requirement for the course. Aspirants appearing for the final year semester exam of bachelor's degree or equivalent can also apply provided they score at least 50% aggregate in all semesters/ years.
