1 quality education, 2 good facilities support.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students were able to find placements in diverse fields such as academics, civil services preparation, NGOs, and corporate roles. The average package range between 3-5 LPA, with some students pursuing higher studies rather than immediate jobs. Top recruiters included research organizations, think tanks, NGOs, publishing houses, and a few corporate firms offering analyst and content roles. Nearly 40-50% of students secured internships in government bodies, non-profit organizations, media houses, and research institutes. Top roles offered included Research Associate, Policy Analyst, Content Developer, Teaching Assistant, and Administrative roles.
Infrastructure: Department has good infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, a strong library collection (especially in political Science and international relations), computer facilities, and campus Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities were decent, with regular water and electricity supply. Mess food was average but hygienic, and the canteen offered affordable meals. Medical facilities were available on campus, and there were adequate opportunities for sports, cultural activities, and debates.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and supportive. Most professors hold advanced degrees and have strong subject knowledge, which makes their teaching clear and engaging. The curriculum is updated and relevant, covering diverse areas of Political Theory, International Relations, Public Administration, and Comparative Politics. It not only builds a strong academic foundation but also helps students prepare for competitive exams like UPSC NET and other administrative services. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Neither too easy nor too tough. But it requires consistent study and understanding of concepts.
Other: I chose this course because of my deep interest in politics, governance, and international relations. The best part of the course is that it provides However, I feel that more practical exposure, such as workshops, guest lectures from policymakers, and field visits, could make the course even stronger. The campus life is vibrant with various events, debates, cultural fests, and student clubs that keep students engaged. The peer group is diverse and active, which creates a healthy environment for discussions and knowledge sharing.

I am completely satisfied with my college because of it's value.
Placements: 1. The percentage of students passed in our college is about 40%. 2. The highest package offered in our college is 3.6LPA, and the lowest is 1.8LPA 3. I do not know the companies. 4. The percentage is about 40%. 5. Media Reporter offered.
Infrastructure: 1. Hall room, gym room, laboratories, indoor sports auditorium, and proper toilet rooms. 2. The hostel quality is average. Quality of food in canteen is low. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games are of above average quality. We do not have a mess in our college.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were qualified and knowledgeable, and they were also helpful. Many students couldn't connect to the teachers. No, the curriculum is not. It could not make the students industry-ready. It is difficult. The pass percentage is 92%.
Other: 1. Because I like literature. You just have to remember the story, then you can write the question answers on your own. It is the best thing in our course. 2. The syllabus because it is nothing very catchy and interesting.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry - Batch of 2024

It provides bad placements. It has good faculty members and a good hostel.
Placements: I have no idea of the placements offered by the college, and even I doubt if they offer any placements. I have heard from some students that after studying B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry, it becomes somewhat easier to get jobs in companies like oil and ONGC.
Infrastructure: The college offers a good infrastructure. There are separate departments and classrooms for each course. Some classrooms are dirty, but the maximum is of good quality. Our college provides Wi-Fi and a library. I heard that the hostel is average and the facilities are quite decent. I do not know much about the hostels because I do not live there. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced. There are some young contractual teachers, and they are not that bad. Their teaching is good, but it is a government college, so they do not care much about completing the syllabus. Semester exams are not that difficult. Direct questions are asked in those exams, and the pass percentage is 30%.
Other: Students are friendly, and seniors are supportive. The course is not that tough if you study well. Everything in the course is from 1st year and 2nd-year syllabi. The college organises various awareness programs, career development programs, including election, college week, freshers, etc. It also organises a program on road safety and the importance of wearing helmets.

I had a very good experience here.
Placements: 12 students got placed in my course. 13,000 per month is the salary offered. Companies like news channels came here. News Live, DY 365, etc., are some of them. 50% of students got placed, and at least 30% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available like Wi-Fi, science lab, library etc. The facilities are good and hygienic. The mess is good, clean and tidy. Medical facilities are available. We have a sports club for games like volleyball, football, table tennis and carrom.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive in my case. Others were well-qualified and supported us in our studies. The curriculum was relevant and very helpful. Semester exams were difficult as we had 6 semesters in my course.
Other: The course is good for me as I am interested in it. I took B.A. with economics as honours, and I liked the demand and supply part a lot, so I chose this course. It helps me for future queries. The teaching medium must be improved, as many of them come from English medium background, but they use the local dialect for all. They do speak in English but rarely. We have many fests, campaigns and activities. We have a scholarship scheme too.

Best college and inspiring college.
Placements: In Sonari College, the maximum number of students get placement. Many students got jobs at Sonari College as professors. The average package is almost INR 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. It depends on you in which company you will get a job. The maximum number of students got an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is almost good. We have all the facilities, like the canteen, library, wifi, and boys and girls common room. All the labs, like chemistry, physics, etc., are available. The college also has a medical facility. All types of sports are played at this college.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified, and their teaching is very nice. One can easily understand the teaching, but if they don't, they can easily ask the teacher to explain it once more. The teachers are very friendly. In the BSc Honors program, physics is not so hard for the students who are interested in physics. They have to do hard work to pass the final semester.
Other: I chose BSc honors physics because I have an interest in physics and want to learn more about physics and the world. So I chose it. So it is better to choose a subject in which you are interested.
