Dissatisfied with the infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: So yes, our placements are quite good in our college. This year, all our seniors got placed in good companies. I will graduate next year and hope to get placed in a good company with a decent starting salary. The starting package offered is almost 18,000 in Honda and newly created companies.
Infrastructure: So, the labs are okay, and classrooms don't have any smart TVs or similar technology; they look like school rooms. The library isn't that good either. The boys' hostel and school office are in one building, and the campus is very small. It doesn't have a girls' dormitory, so girls need to stay in PGs or rent rooms. The mess and canteen don't have any good food.
Faculty: So, teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. They always assist us and clear our doubts whenever needed. The semester exams are at a moderate level. Yes, this course prepares us for the industry practically. The teaching quality is good, but the lab machines and resources are not in good condition, which hinders our learning and practical lab work.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: In our college, more than 85% of students were placed. The average salary package offered was 1.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Badve Autotech Pvt. Ltd., Punjoloyed Ltd., Mundra Solar Pvt. Ltd., Krisna Maruti Pvt. Ltd., etc., visited our campus. Around 80% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college had an excellent infrastructure. Our college provided good facilities. Our lab, classrooms and library were excellent. Wi-Fi was not available throughout the campus. There were five departments available. Medical, sports, and gaming facilities are available.
Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful. They were well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum was relevant. It made students industry-ready. The semester exams were a little bit difficult. The pass percentage was 95%. There were mechanical, electrical, civil, computer, and electronic engineers.
Other: The mechanical engineering program is a time-demanding course.

Great Job opportunities for CST.
Placements: College placements are very good this year, especially in the CST department. More than 80% of students get placements and some students also went for higher studies. The top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, LTI, Accenture, etc. The highest salary offered is 45k per month and the lowest salary is 18k per month. The average salary offered is around 26k per month. Many students also get internships during their 2nd-year course curriculum in various MNCs. The top role offered is Diploma Trainee Engineer.
Infrastructure: College infrastructures are really up to the mark. Students are provided free Wi-Fi inside of the college premises. Labs are well-equipped and there are many computers. The classrooms are very big and full of light. The bathrooms are neat and clean. The library is available for the students where students can study in their free time. There is a big playground inside of the college where students can take part in various sports activities. A food canteen is there and the food quality is average. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful towards the students. There are 6 teachers in our department. Every teacher is well known and has many years of industry experience. They teach us very well so that we can understand very difficult problems in a very simple and easy way. The course curriculum is well structured and it helps us to grow in our future life. The semester exams are easy to pass and you can pass easily by putting some little effort into your studies.
Other: The college fest is very enjoyable and many government. Scholarships are there in the college.

I will never recommend this college to others.
Placements: You can't get placed here. If you are a favorite student, then you will probably get placed because there is favoritism in this college.
Infrastructure: The labs are good. Wi-Fi and AC are not available. Library facilities are poor. Medical facilities are not available. There is no canteen, sports and games. I have wasted my 3 years. I will not recommend others to join here.
Faculty: The faculty members are the worst. You will only get good grades if you are favoured. They intentionally give less marks to some students.

This college has facilities like Wi-Fi, transport, drinking water, playground and workshop.
Placements: Approximately 50% to 60% of the students got jobs from our course. The highest salary package offered ranges from 1 LPA to 2 LPA. Top companies visited our college for placements. From our course, a total of 78 students got jobs. ME is the best course in this college, and all teachers are very hardworking. So, I highly recommend you to join ME.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi did not work properly during my tenure, and the library has few books. Classrooms are average, and the infrastructure is good. This is the best institute, and there is no compromise in the study.
Faculty: The main best thing about our college is that all teachers are very good and hardworking for students. Their teaching quality is very good. They all are experienced and very helpful, mainly in the mechanical engineering department. All teachers are knowledgeable, so I recommend you to take admission in this college for study. This college makes students ready for the industry.
Other: I have chosen mechanical engineering because I am passionate about machines and mechanisms. Overall, this college is best for study.

Review of South Calcutta Polytechnic.
Placements: Around 20% of the students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was Rs. 85,000 per annum, The lowest salary package offered was Rs. 75,000 per annum. Vivo, Shivani locks, etc., visited our campus for recruitment. No internships were provided by the college. Roles offered were as a junior engineer.
Infrastructure: We have facilities like Wi-Fi, 2 labs, classrooms, a library, and a playground. We also have the mess, canteen, medical, sports and games facilities on campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. They treat us like a friend and are always ready to solve our problems. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for industry.
Other: I opted for this course because I am passionate about electronics. The best thing is we can build new things and also we can automate any electrical device. I wish to improve our lab training. Events, fest, campus crowd, and connectivity are good.
