It is one of the best colleges in Jhansi.

Placements: There are about 200-250 students studying the course of civil engineering. Many companies offered packages for students in the range of Rs. 1,00,000 per month. Our college is good for engineering and also other courses in Jhansi city.

Infrastructure: The faculty in our college is good. They have qualifications like a PhD. We have one of the best faculties. The hostel is also good. There are many games and sports organised throughout the college. This is a good college for engineering in Jhansi.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching skills are good. There are many types of tests and exams organised for students, like CT (class test), and PUT (pre-university test). The normal pass percentage in college is something like 45%-50%.

Review of SR Group of Institution (SRGI).

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Some companies visited our campus for placements, but a few of them are related to core branches. But this year, the condition of placements is good when compared to the previous years. Some faculty members are constantly trying to make placements better.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college badly needs to be improved. Though there are many instruments to perform lab tests, those are not in working condition. Wi-Fi rarely works, and you have to do enough struggle to get your device connected to it. The library is quite good but not updated.

Faculty: Some faculty members here are very much helpful, and some are not. Many faculty members don't deserve to be here. But in our department, all the faculty members are very good, and they have full knowledge of their subject. Our faculty are helpful too. The management of this college really needs to change its perspective toward students.

Other: Our college is an average college like many others. This college provides a scholarship named Prayas to girls and economically backward students. Every year, our college organises an annual event named Panche and a good fest. The campus crowd is average.

I am satisfied with the facilities provided. Infrastructure is awesome. Placements are not good.

Placements: The placements for the students in our department are not much effective. Around 45% of the students from our batch were placed. The lowest or average salary package offered for the students of our department is 1.2 LPA, and the highest is 2.6 LPA. Companies like Shalimar Corp Ltd. and Pixel Infra Developer Pvt Ltd etc., have visited the college for placements. There is a placement cell in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well developed with different facilities such as air-conditioned classrooms, library and Wi-Fi. Medical facilities are available on the campus. The quality of the labs is good. The college provides all the equipment related to our course. There is a canteen available on the campus, and the quality of food is not that good.

Faculty: Faculty members are hardworking, qualified and well experienced. The quality of teaching is good. They use projectors for a better explanation. The college organises many industry visits. The course was very useful. We visited the steel industry soil lab.

Other: Events organised in the campus are very good. Firstly, they organise the freshers' party for freshers, and the crowd is huge. The connectivity is good, and the students are provided with scholarships. The college also organises many other programmes such as engineers day, and there is much more to learn from these events.

Placements: The scope of placements for civil engineering in SRGI (SR Group Of Institutions) is very less. Some companies come to the college but give, at maximum, 3 lakhs to 3.6 lakhs to the civil engineering students. Companies give high packages for computer science, EC, MBA, BBA students. Placements in civil engineering department decrease every year from the preceding year in the college.

Infrastructure: The college building is good with the full facility of warm and cold purified water. The structure of the building is modern. The civil engineering department is the first building of the college. Every department of college has a 3-storey building. Management department and the hostel of the college are modern and are constructed with tiles. The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi with the speed of about 20 Mbps. Medical room is constructed and provides a good facility. The college promotes sports by organising the annual fest Velocity.

Faculty: The faculty members are very nice in every department and they have a good knowledge of their subjects. Many of them have written and published some research papers and books. The faculty members are very helpful at many instances but sometimes, they are strict towards study.

Other: The college encourages the students to participate in the cultural fest Panache. The whole fest is organized by the students. Panache includes many events like Persona, DJ night, celebrity night and many more. Panache is the biggest fest of Jhansi and is the only fest organized in any college in Jhansi. Students from different colleges also join SRGI students and participate in events.

Only college in Jhansi, yet not good.

Placements: Many companies visit the campus in order to get the placements done. Placements are organised by the college, but only those could be selected who work hard by their own. The placement record is not that good but more than 50% of candidates get placed in some or the other companies. The highest salary offered is 15 lacs/PA and the lowest is 1.5 lacs PA.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is present but it does not cover the whole campus. You could not get signals in your classroom many times. Labs have non-functional machines and about 50 percent of those work. Classrooms have fans but many are missing from their places. There are water coolers in every branch and at almost every floor with filters which are not replaced for years. After holidays of even 2 days, the water gets stinky and non-usable. Toilets are just average. You will never love touching the taps or going near the wash basins as they are too dirty. Gardens and flowery plants cover the whole building and that is the only part which has got no faults. It makes campus green and shady. Students enjoy sitting in the grass and chatting. The campus also has a departmental store which rarely opens and has less items in it. There is a canteen and an ATM within the premises. Hostel rooms are clean and tidy. The food is average with a variety of food.

Faculty: The faculty team is the main problem with this college.Many times, you have to wait half a semester to get your subject teachers especially in the civil branch. You should be properly dressed in the college uniform, if not, that is a big issue, but a class is missing lectures due to unavailability of teachers and lab equipment which is just a regular routine for the college faculty members. Grievances of student-related matters, be it results or teachers or course completion, takes months and sometimes years to solve. We had teachers from IIT-BHU as according to our HOD, but the teacher was not of the quality to teach even the 10th class student of an English medium school. I have not seen such arrogant and out of the world faculty members in my life, or I should say, my school teachers were more knowledgeable than the ones present here (not all, but most of them).

Other: If you ever take admission in this college, be prepared to study by your own, work hard, join coaching and get passed. Be prepared to be bullied by your teachers to pay extra money above what is mentioned in your fees. You could be threatened to be fined or to be made short in attendance or to suffer on the side of internal marks if not obeyed. So, join at your own risk.
