SCTIMST Trivandrum Course Admissions 2025: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

Unfortunately a 60% in class 12 will not get you into SCTIMST in Trivandrum. An MBBS degree or an equivalent degree from a reputable college is the minimal educational requirement for admission to the DM Fellowship program. Additionally, a one-year mandatory rotatory internship at a reputable medical college is required.

You need to have earned at least 55% of your MBBS degree in order to be eligible for the INI-SS exam. fortunately the number of applicants and seat availability may affect the cut-off marks for admission to SCTIMST each year.

The SCTIMST, Trivandrum admissions procedure is as follows:

Approach the AIIMS, New Delhi, INI-SS (Institutes of National Importance-Super Specialty) entrance exam by submitting an application.
Attend the INI-SS entrance exam and meet the minimum score requirements.
The INI-SS entrance exam rank list will be used to guide counseling.
Those chosen for counseling will need to bring in their certifications and other credentials/documents to SCTIMST for validation.
The candidate will be given the opportunity to enroll in the course if the documents are successfully verified.

No, you can't join SCTIMST directly.The selection of the candidates for the course is through the counseling based on the rank list of the entrance examination of the INI-SS (Institutes of National Importance-Super Specialty) conducted by the AIIMS, New Delhi and further verification of certificates and other credentials/documents by SCTIMST. 

The AIIMS, New Delhi conducts the INI-SS (Institutes of National Importance- Super Specialty) entrance exam for SCTIMST, Trivandrum 2023 admission to the DM Fellowship program.It conducts various entrance exams for different programs. 

These examinations may include:

DM (Doctorate in Medicine) and MCh (Master of Chirurgiae): These programs are typically selected through a written examination after which comes an interview.

PhD (Doctor of Philosophy): Typically, the selection process consists of a written test after which comes  an interview.

Post-Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC): Candidates for PDCC programs may be required to take a written exam as well as an interview.

Post-Basic BSc Nursing: A written examination may be part of the selection process.
