SCTIMST Trivandrum Cutoff 2025: Check NEET UG, INI CET Year Wise Ranks

SCTIMST, Trivandrum does not have minimum 12th percentile requirement for the PG Diploma course. But, the institute does require students to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university. 

The information below is the minimum required score for PG Diploma programs at SCTIMST, Trivandrum 2023:

PG Diploma in Cardiac Laboratory Technology: 50% total in a Bachelor of Science degree with Physics as a major or elective.

PG Diploma in Medical Records Science: 50% total from any Bachelor of Science program.

A minimum of 50% of the total points in BSc Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Computer Science are required for the postgraduate Diploma in neurotechnology.

Depending on the volume of applications and the number of seats available, the cutoff scores may change annually.

The AIIMS, New Delhi conducts the INI-SS (Institutes of National Importance- Super Specialty) entrance exam for SCTIMST, Trivandrum 2023 admission to the DM Fellowship program.It conducts various entrance exams for different programs.

DM (Doctorate in Medicine) and MCh (Master of Chirurgiae): These programs are typically selected through a written examination after which comes an interview.

PhD (Doctor of Philosophy): Typically, the selection process consists of a written test after which comes  an interview.

Post-Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC): Candidates for PDCC programs may be required to take a written exam as well as an interview.

Post-Basic BSc Nursing: A written examination may be part of the selection process.

Yes, SCTIMST Trivandrum follows the seat reservation policy as per the norms of the Government of India. In each course offered at the institute, some seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PWD categories. The number of seats reserved for these categories may vary over the years as some reserved seats are rotated over two consectuive years among the course specialisations offered at the institute. If the reserved seats are found vacant, they are allotted eligible unreserved (UR) category candidates.

AIIMS releases INI CET pattern along with the information brochure. The question paper pattern comprises details about the mode, medium of the exam, total number of questions asked, type of questions, allotted time, and marking scheme. INI CET exam is held in computer-based mode in English medium. According to INI CET 2025 paper pattern, a total of 200 multiple choice questions are asked and candidates get 3 hours to answer them. Candidates get 1 mark for every right answer while -1/3 for every wrong answer. It must be noted that the official question paper and answer key are not released for INI CET exam.

Considering the INI CET Round 1, the cutoff for MD in Transfusion Medicine is 1799 for the General candidates. Similarly, for the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff is 2526 for the same course.
